Najwa Awad, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker who offers therapy services to individuals, couples and families in Baltimore County and Howard County, Maryland. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology from George Mason University in 2005, and in 2007 she received her Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University with a specialization in the clinical treatment of individuals and families. Additionally, she has extensive post-graduate training in the treatment of psychiatric trauma.
Najwa's experience in the field is diverse and includes providing services at group homes, public schools, outpatient clinics and in the foster care system. Najwa treats a wide variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, psychiatric trauma, adjustment disorder and behavior disorders.
