I have been in this business for 40 years, I retired from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and am now doing what I have always wanted to do run my own shop. I will honor all work I do and give a one year warranty.Commercial and residential.

I took an antique floor lamp into be refurbished and Catherine did a great job on it. She's such a lovely person! She explained every aspect of the repairs & demonstrated the lamps features. The price was reasonable.

In the last four-plus years since moving to Hendersonville, I have made several lighting purchases from Shealy.  Subsequently, based on the wonderful assistance and customer service from Catherine, we continue to work with this company as we prepare for two major renovation projects in our home.  I did business with another lighting company in the area several years ago, and while they recently were very helpful with a warranty issue, I now wish I had gone with Catherine and Shealy first.  It feels good to support a business that proves itself in the customer dedication department day in and day out.

Catherine was helpful, & I ordered a light fixture from her.Just beware, She charges approx double what she pays for LED G25 bulbs. I'll never go back. Go to Blue Ridge Lighting or Walmart for LED bulbs.

If you need customer service, you’re better off trying the local DMV. If there’s one thing a place like this should focus on it’s customer service. Hard fail. This is why Home Depot and Lowes thrive.

I was amazed at how rudely I was treated at this store after merely inquiring into their in-stock LED strip lighting.  The woman raised her voice toward me and clearly didn't want me to show me the small, messy drawer they had of various components.  At over $200 for 16ft of strip light alone no transformer included, I wasn't interested anyway.  As a local electrician doing high end installations, I try to use local companies when possible, but I definitely won't be using this one.

Great selection of fixtures, bulbs and finials.  Owner helped me find great solution to replace 2 indoor sconces, and find the a better filament bulb... she has a box to plug in numerous bulbs, so you can compare side to side.  She also repairs and can turn unususl things into lsmpd and pendants. My new go to store!

I love shopping here, and I love the service I get when I need help deciding what light fixture will work and that whatever space I'm working in. My husband and I flip houses and this store allows us to have pieces that are less generic then Lowe's and Home Depot! They have all ranges of prices,  I couldn't be happier I give all my business to them.

Katherine is very knowledgeable about lighting needs.  She's helped to educate me a bit about what to look for in lamps.  She's friendly, helpful and her repair prices are very reasonable.

I had a Demi-giani wine jug from Italy that I wanted to be made into a lamp. After reading reviews I took it in & was super pleased with the results & the price. Thank you so much. I love my new lamp!

Catherine, the owner of this lighting store, is very helpful and courteous. The store's selection of lamps, fans, bulbs and lighting accessories is exceptional for such a small retail space. No need to travel to Asheville or Spartanburg to find a ceiling fan, pendant light, desk/table lamp or chandlier.
