Eat there - Great chana bhatura. Owner is friendly and helpful. Also a good grocery store for Asian mostly South Asian items AND McVities chocolate covered digestives! Vegetarian options: Completely vegetarian
A well stocked place. I was pleasantly surprised when I got Elaichi Dana called sweet Makhana here which I needed for my prasad, during my visit to the US. Loved the Aloo Paratha. A nice, cozy place with flavours of India.Food: 4/5
We have now shopped and bought food several times. First the grocery store needs to stock up on a few essential items so that they don’t run out. Some of the chaat items need to be tweaked so they taste better. Tamarind chutney is very tangy with very little sweetness and not enough salt. Same goes for Samosa and other chutneys. This is our go to place for a lot of things as we just moved here so I’m really hoping that owners take notice and make conscious effort to improve.
If you love authentic Indian Food. This Place is wonderful. If you haven't tried it, it is a must! You will not be disappointed. They allow you to sample before you purchase the food. This also is a spice shop/Market. They also stock fresh Vegetables. Very Nice people.
Lovely little market! The scent of delicious food and spices fill your nostrils upon first step inside. The person manning the sweets let us taste a few things, which made it a wonderful experience. We did get a few sweets to take home! There was a wait for the food so that is a good sign. I'll be back!
First of all, the people are great , warm welcoming and the place is super litt. Coming to the real deal - food . Vast menu , they have lots to chose from the indian cuisine. I tried pav bhaji , masala dosa and there combo which had two veggies, pickles , rice, samosa and some raita. Pav bhaji was great , seemed fresh and was flavorful, probably justifies the most of the positive side of review. Coming to dosa , it was a big no, it was hard , not evenly cooked , sambhar was thick and didn't quite had the authentic taste . Not at all recommended. The combo , the vegetables weren't that hot that it should be when served , the rajma was like thick and had lost the charm it has with the rice , i loved paneer lababdar though , the other disappointment was the garlic naan, so basically i was expecting a fresh tandoori garlic naan but it was just a trader joe's kinda plain naan with garlic sticked to it not impressed . Samosa on the other hand felt like homemade , not so oily and tasted really good. They have a nice patio kinda seating with nice desi vibes and nice lights.
What a great find! Vegetarian authentic Indian food and market. The lunch was out of the world. So much food for such a good price. We will definitely be going back.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
My wife and I were in the mood for something vegetarian and different. Namaste Spiceland just happens to be on the way home from where we were so we gave it a try. We were both pleasantly surprised at how good and fresh the food was. The place also happens to be a full fledged super market specializing in all types of Indian foods and vegetables. I would recommend you go there if you ever need authentic spices and other key ingredients for cooking.
My friend and I tried this place a few weeks ago and sat on the patio. We enjoyed the food very much which was full of flavor! There is also an Indian market gor groceries and spices connected to the eatery.
I almost don't want to share because if more people find out, there might not be enough delicious food left for me! I love Indian food. Namaste is vegetarian and absolutely to die for. They prepare their dishes daily, and it's always variations though they'll usually have daal. They also let you sample, so be sure to ask. I have only ever gotten food from their hot bar, but there seem to be several other items, but I stick with what works for me! They gave a 2 combo or three. The three are worth it as you get a mouth-watering samosa. Also, you can ask for garlic Naan, which is extra, but made while you wait. Top this off with a small Chai, and you're in for a true taste explosion!!!
