Nana‘s Attic Thrift Store plays an integral part in the financial support of the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County. This is one of the few organizations that I donate to knowing what I give directly benefits victims of domestic violence. I have always had very positive experiences with the volunteers and management. After reading some previous reviews here I agree that the pricing has increased a bit too much for many of the items for sale, in particular handbags and costume jewelry. I still continue to purchase when I can knowing that what I spend I am giving to an organization that helps others rebuild their lives. Please refer to the last three photos for contact information on their location, hours, and how to donate to Nana’s Attic.
Such a lovely thrift store with a great mission. I enjoy visiting this store when I am in the area and they always have some intriguing items. On my last visit I was able to find some well made glassware for my Easter centerpieces.
While I love their mission, for my last several visits I haven't bought anything due to their increasingly ridiculous prices. To me, thrift stores need to balance their charitable mission with its purpose for offering an inexpensive option for poor people to buy clothes and other items. They are out of touch with reality thinking they can charge $18 for pajamas or $20 for a basic casserole dish. The only exception to my review above is books, which continue to be priced very low.
Great mission and organization to support however historically difficult to donate to. Was told to go out back for drop off in the front. At the back, woman on cell phone refused donation and said no one to process items. Had NWT or never worn items as well as a bunch of men’s under armor. Items are hit or miss like any thrift store and have also climbed up in price.
If I could give this place no stars I would.. very beautiful items but very overpriced...staff is very ride and unpleasant...treats you like your money means nothing... and have about 7 volunteers there and every one of them seems very confused
There is so much, you can't help but buy something. Large selection household items, clothing, books are $1. And you are supporting a good cause.
I will never leave anything at this place again! I had brought in a basket of clothing and a few boxes of other things. They immediately told me what they didn't want and informed me that whatever they didn't want they would throw out!! If I didn't have to carry it all back out to my car I would not have left it. I wonder where those brand new boots ended up?? I had previously been told that they donate to other organizations if the items they receive are not needed. Very rude people, both helpers and manager. Very disappointed since this organization is supposed to be helping people. Maybe they should take some courteous and grateful classes. I would not have given this place any stars but it won't let you post a comment unless you at least give them 1.
Very nice and polite people. But if you Google places to donate prom gowns, in Delaware county PA,they come up. Went there today and they say they do not accept them.
Awesome little thrift shop that has a little bit of everything.
Lovely little store that has SO many hidden gems. Was wanting a coffee table for my new apartment and I found one for $12 and it was in such good condition! The two ladies also went out of their way to help me with my purchases. Very pleased.
