Nanco Helicopters

As a wedding gift to my husband, I surprised him with a helicopter tour of Channel Islands with Nanco Helicopters and the experience was amazing! Our pilot, Taylor was professional, kind and is very knowledgeable of the history and current events of the islands and Santa Barbara city Also, we extremely appreciate how smooth the take off and landing was. We had an unforgettable flight with Taylor at the beginning of the month. through crystal clear helicopter panes we saw the beautiful coastline and Santa Ynez Valley including the Neverland Ranch. if you are planning a helicopter flight Nanco is probably the best address!

100/100! Amazing experience and amazing day! I took my now fiance on the Winery Charter tour last weekend to propose. The experience was perfect. The staff at Nanco was fully aware of my plans and helped me throughout, this was an amazing relief. The flight too and from was incredible and the wine tour was just what I was looking for. A private tour at Sanford which is such a great winery with a very private feel. The best part was Taylor pulled my aside midway and confirmed my plans to propose and then asked if I wanted to go over to the old barn on the property to pop the question. I thought it was a great idea so a they took us up to the barn, which was extremely picturesque and it made for the perfect proposal in my opinion. The thought and care that Taylor put into the day and his relationship with Sanford Winery makes for a unbeatable experience. I HIGHLY recommend.

My flight experience with Taylor was exceptional. He was very professional and personalable. I was incredibly nervous to fly but Taylor made me feel so safe. I have been flying with Nanco Helicopters for over 2 years now. From day 1 they have been nothing but exceptional in customer service, flight instruction, and a great company to fly with overall. Taylor the chief pilot is extremely knowledgable, very friendly and a great pilot as well as his teaching staff Richard who I completed my flight instruction with and i now hold my own Private Helicopter Pilots Certificate. All of his aircraft are well maintained, clean and comfortable.I have always felt safe going up in the air with Nanco Helicopters or while flying there aircraft. They have the best tours around and are a local company, I would highly recommend taking a tour with them any day of the week, or if your looking to become a pilot they are the best instructors around. Thanks again to Taylor and Richard for all of your help and instruction over the past 2 years. It has been great flying with you guys and i look forward to more of it.

Can't believe there is one bad review here at all! Nanco is by far the most incredible helicopter experience I have had so far. I have been on multiple tours over Spain and Greece in a helicopter and this one blew them out of the water. Incredible tour guide and overall amazing experience. Would recommend to anyone who wants to see the true beauty of Santa Barbara.

Taylor and Nanco were a surprise for my birthday. I DON'T go around writing reviews, but the whole experience, including Taylor was so amazing, that here we are... me telling you to not miss an opportunity to fly with Taylor, and then maybe consider inviting him over for the holidays, because, hey, who doesn't want to have the party where someone asks, "Who's helicopter is outside?". Please remember, I have only met this man once, flown in a helicopter once, and written a review once. Nanco. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the experience!!!!

Taylor and Nanco are so awesome. Had one of the best times today flying around santa Barbara and seeing it from a totally different perspective. Have him show you some of his favorite spots he knows the central coast unlike anyone else. Highly recommended!!

Nanco helicopters give high quality flight instruction. I just finished my commercial helicopter certificate with Nanco and I am very pleased. Having flown at a handful of schools during my training, I would highly recommend learning to fly at Nanco to anyone interested in helicopters. Flying in Santa Barbara is a gorgeous and diverse place to learn, ocean, mountains and downtown. You get to share the skies with the big commercial jets that come into KSBA giving you the experience and confidence to handle any airport you fly to. Nanco facilities and Helicopters are always clean making for an easy and comfortable environment. Awesome instructor, easy scheduling, and accommodating staff along with everything else make this school an easy choice for anyone looking for just an intro flight to see what helicopters are all about or someone looking for a helicopter school in the best place in California.
