I call this location phone number no answer. Called another local Adventist office they set an appointment here it was the soonest they can see me. Got no confirmation, no update, called both numbers no answer. Like out of the matrix. They should change the name to save face but im sure it receives funding and someone is living lux. My dad who voted her husband sold them a truck from galpin and said she was nasty. Reading the comments I guess my experience is not alone and her legacy of being nasty towards ppl , must be smiling in her grave. I can't stand bad service I guess I have to drive to LA.
receptionist told me my appointment was at 1:30. text from adventist said my appointment was at 1:40. i came in at 1;20. receptionist told me i was a little early.after waiting till 2:45, I asked same receptionist frank, what is going on. he said sorry we double booked on accident and he can reschedule me next day. I said no thanks I'm going to carbon care from now on.
At first I had a difficult time reaching someone but once I did The receptionist on the phone Lauren was wonderful and really kind. She was able to schedule my appointment sooner to get a mammogram since I am experiencing pain. Thank you Lauren for your help. :
Today I called to make an appointment for an ultrasound. The person who answered the phone was very unprofessional and uninformed. She said she didnt know if they did that test but did I still want to make an appointment. I told her no, if she wasnt sure they did the test. I will call and let my Dr know. Very poor service. It took me 5 phone calls before anyone answered the phone.
After waiting for over an hour and a half for two chest X-rays, I finally could not take it any longer and had to leave. I am scheduled to have my gallbladder removed this Friday and I'm really hoping that I will be able to get these two simple X-rays that I need for clearance for surgery and that it's not now too late. I was in tears by the time I left the center yesterday because the pain was continuing to build while I waited all that time. I'm not well and this took me over the edge. I've never had an experience like this before at this center but of all times for it to happen, it was horrible timing for me for the center to be failing so spectacularly. I will try again today and hopefully I will leave with more than just paperwork, receipt for services not ever rendered, a ton of gut pain, tears and no images.
I just finished an appointment here and found every staff member I encountered to be warm and friendly. Well run facility with a nice mix of efficiency and kindness.
Adventist Health Breast Center is NOT like it used to be! The technicians and center employees don’t discuss review symptoms or family history, tell you to, “don’t breathe” without warning, and when an attempt is made to follow up with department employees repeatedly create excuses instead of providing supportive tactics.
It was my first time getting a mammogram. I had to come back a second time for additional views. So, I've been there twice and I'd like to share my experience...The people on the phone at Nancy Reagan Breast Center are warm and friendly. Not the case at the actual facility. The employees are cold and it's an overall depressing atmosphere. You would think the mammogram tech of all the people there, would be more kind and reassuring to the patients considering it's the one place where we find out whether or not we have breast cancer. There was no warmth and kindness from her. Both times I had my mammogram with her and both times, she grabbed the back of my arm skin, pinching it between her fingers to place my arm in position. As women, we all know that's not where we want to be pinched or grabbed. It was the way she pinched my arm skin between her fingers that upset me. It was almost as if she was trying to make me self-conscious about my arms. There are plenty of other ways to move someone's arm. The way she did it should never be done to anyone, especially a woman getting her mammogram. The second time I went, I brought my mother for emotional support as I was nervous about having to come in again. My mom tried walking into the room with me and was reprimanded by the tech in such a vile way, telling her to go take a seat in the other room, like she was scolding a child. That's another thing this emotionally devoid mammogram tech did that really upset me. I think I've shared enough. I really want to wash my hands of that unpleasant experience and never go there again. I just needed to share what happened to me at that place so that other women know what to expect if they decide to go there for a mammogram.
The facility adn staff here is just awesome. I have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. They are considerate, respectful and kind. For the woman things we have to do which may seem bothersome, it is nice to know that when you do have to go, it will be a good experience.
Everything here is great, but they don't do reminder calls and I have missed some appointments due to this. This is especially problematic if you book your appointments way in advance and forget like I do! They should have do robo-reminder calls which would cut down on missed appointments.
