The bad reviews for pupusas are about a year old, and I saw a good review from recently. So I thought maybe they have improved, so let me give them a try. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the whole beans inside the pupusas. They gave me a salsa made of some type of peppers flavored with cuminwhich I hate, not even close to the salsa for pupusas. This was my first time ordering pupusas from them, unfortunately I'm still on the hunt for some decent pupusas in SCV.
This place is small and outdated but the staff are super friendly and welcoming! The pupusas are always delicious and are the best pupusas in SCV!Food: 5/5
So I wanted to like this place , the vibe inside was uncomfortable & dirty But in stride I ordered and the menudo was disgusting, the relleno even worst. I don’t live to far from here and the tortillas were stale . Will never go backFood: 1/5
I got pupusas... Maybe my fault for not getting them at a Salvadorian restaurant but these smelled bad and then tasted bad and was burnt on the outside. It was way overpriced almost $6 for two. How can beans taste bad ? Idk but these were gross I had to trash it. Never tried anything else. The place smelled like paint.

Been on the hunt for yummy pupusas! Definitely worth it! This place is very very good the pork and cheese pupusa is bomb but still looking for somewhere that has garlic and cheese pupusas like Nevada.
Overcharged for bad food. Do not come here. After 9.5% taxes, my food should have cost just under $18 according to their menu. I was charged $20 even but didn't complain because I heard the food is good. I heard wrong. My food came out suspiciously quickly. 3 chicken enchiladas with rice. The chicken is dry and tastes old/frozen. I lost my appetite after a few bites. The salsa on the side is actually delicious, but pointless without a good main dish.
Food was great, birria was delicious, shrimp cocktail was excellent, my kids loved the beans and rice, and there is no beating fresh corn tortillas, oh and there carne asada was flavored very well.
I tried the supreme burrito with shrimp and I thought it was gooood and fresh! I like how their was not too much sodium because some burritos have too much salt. It was filling and everything tasted fresh. The customer service was quick and friendly. I enjoyed it and would recommend to family and friends. : -Fahimah A.
This place is a HIDDEN GEM! Very small and outdated in my opinion, but the food was soo good! Way better than "Maria Bonitas" "Medranos" or any other place in scv. This is my new favorite place. Tried multiple items and all were amazing. The owner was really nice and made the best michelada ever. Give this place a chance and you won't be disappointed.
