Really loved everything about this place. Only was hoping desserts were homemade but not these days. But it was all still delicious. Dietary restrictions: Had Gluten free options for my husband
Simplicity and Tradition is always a win in terms of great Itallian food. Naples does well in both departments. Well worth the stop if your nearby or passing through.Food: 5/5
I really really wanted to love this place! It has so many nooks and crannies for seating and is so comfy cozy!! I love the charm and feel of the place! The bread is DELICIOUS! i ordered lasagna- it was decent. My husband ordered a meal that was supposed to be tangy hot- and it wasn’t at all! It looked so good- but fell completely flat with nothing but garlic heaps & heaps of it actually and overcooked pasta and sweet peppers that were supposed to be hot. the wedding soup was noodle-less. The salad was tired. The dressings were fair. But the worst part was the not so pleasant cigarette smelling waitress who was chewing food -open mouth- the only 3 times she visited our table -once to take the order, once to bring the food and once to bring the check. And I’m not a germaphobe by any means-but we watched another waitress cough not once, but twice while carrying food- didn’t even attempt to turn her head away from the plates!
Ordered the veal & shrimp Romano under melted cheese and sautéed mushrooms. Outstanding! Kind, pleasant staff; quick service. Fair pricing, generous portions, homemade bread, casual atmosphere. Highly recommended!!Recommended dishesHomemade Bread, It Was Just
Dean Martin's old hangout is very popular especially if visiting the Nutcracker Village. Set in a rustic house they have open seating. Italian bread is served bagged to preserve freshness. Had chef's veal parmesan with side of spaghetti and mushroom sauce. Portion sizes were generous and very good! Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with a couple of grape tomatoes, a cucumber slice, two olives, and a spicy pepper. Note-there are two veal parmesans on the menu. The less expensive one is a veal patty. Please note that. Service was a bit slow but understanding how busy the place is, I can allot for that. Take out is available and they have their own parking lot. Will definitely come here again! Vegetarian options: limited Parking: Private lot
My Aunt used to come by for lunch when she was a student at xray tech school more than 50 years ago. My Aunt and Uncle would stop by every time they visted the area from SC. We always heard great, raving reviews. My uncle died a little over a month ago, and during our latest visit to Ohio we made a point to make a trip to the famous Naples. We had a party of 9, made up of people from SC, WV and Austintown OH. Along with remembering my uncle we were also celebrating my sisters birthday. Everything we ordered tasted great and overall we enjoyed the time we were able to spend with Family and Friends. The only complaint I have, is that our party felt very unwelcome. We arrived at 4:45 and if seemed like the employees were upset that we had a large party. A friend of my Dads was leaving the restaurant small world and said "you guys must be the party of 10 that theyre complaining about in the back". We tried to set the negative feelings aside and just enjoy our time together. I would for sure come back and give it another try.
Salad it self was ok the dressing lasted like it came out of the freezer. Zucchini was good....but would have been better if it was served with marinara not cocktail sauce. Stuff banana peppers were great. Noodles not so much. They tasted doll. Gnocchi meat ball mushy sauce was ok.Food: 2/5
Very tasty food. Enjoyed the ambience too.Food: 5/5
This is a great place for delicious Italian food! They cook the shrimp far beyond what it should be, to the point that it is like chewing hard rubber. Aside from that, the pasta has always been cooked perfectly, and their sauces have been perfect every time.Food: 4/5
I had never known this place was here. I had the Italian combo of pastas, and Italian sausage. With marinara sauce. Food was hot, and authentic, I've eaten Italian food coast to coast I think this rates in the top 10 in the country. Worth a long drive. I'll give it a 9.7 out of 10 .Epic foodFood: 5/5
