This page discusses unhealthy exploitative abuse. North Olympic Peninsula is in need of local Narcissistic Abuse recovery and survivor support. Narcissistic abuse has multiple consequences to the nervous system causing hormonal imbalances, accelerated aging, dehydration, loss or increase in appetite, digestive discomfort, fatigue, circulatory ailments, avoidance, and at it's extreme CPTSD, and over time the toxic stress can lead to death. This is an absolutely no tolerance page for abuse which are no fairy tale to us. It is common to be suspect of identifying narcissists when beginning recovery as humans have varying levels of healthy narcissism. Narcissistic Abuse = Narcissistic relationship abuse starts with a "love bomb" proceeded by systematic withholding and application of affection and presence (ghosting) known as intermittent conditioning. The cure for resulting anxiety is the abuser's attention which is misconstrued as love even while belittling rising to contempt, gas-lighting, ignoring behavior, adultery, sabotage, and, possibly physical abuse. At the core of a narcissist is a combination of entitlement and low self-esteem. These feelings of inadequacy are projected onto the victim. Once final discard takes place abuse is systematic toward a future Hoover.
ACON = Adult Child of a Narcissist, experienced childhood grooming to provide attention and adoration to abusive parent. Children hold various roles. All serve the narcissist parent and all risk discard with the exclusion of the Golden Child. Roles serve the narcissist and assist in grooming the Golden Child to be a future narcissist.
