The best grinders around. They have a large variety to choose from. The deli salads delicious and they also have garden salads ready to grab and go along with a lovely selection of deserts. My go-to sandwich shop!
Had a lobster roll more of a lobster salad roll. It was really good. $25 was pricey, so it won't be a regular occurrence. Edit: Nardellis, thank you! I truly enjoyed it and I'll recommend it to others as well! I especially liked the way I was treated with enthusiasm by the staff!
If your in the mood for a great sandwich, this is the spot to go! We ordered a ham sandwich and a ham wrap with chips and a soda. At first glance it was a bit on the pricey side in comparison to the other sandwich shops around... but after eating half of my sandwich, I realized it's actually a fair value! Unlike I was expecting, I actually was greeted by an abundance of flavorful meat and the veggies were crisp and fresh. The chips we got were Herr's brand. They make a heck of a chip! The staff were all really pleasant to interact with. It seems rare these days to find a good bunch of people at work, but they rocked it!
Nardelli’s I’ve been in Connecticut for 13 years and I’ve never been to a Nardelli‘s. Huge mistake on my part, I have definitely learned from it. I got parking when I pulled up right on the side. I walked in and there was a few people ahead of me. Stacey greeted me as soon as I came in and said she’ll be right with me. She did a wonderful job of explaining my choices and getting the food prepared quickly. Tons of delicious choices in the food case. I change my mind three times before I settled on the prosciutto hot pepper chicken grinder. Obviously I got it toasted to bring out more of the flavor. I decided to get a dessert. I originally picked up a red velvet cake. On my way back to the register I noticed the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen, Waffle rolled cheesecake! I filled up my cup with lemonade, thanked Stacey for her hospitality, and grabbed my food to go. Before pulling away I had to sample the waffle cheesecake. Without exaggeration, this is the greatest dessert I’ve ever eaten and will be back soon to Nardelli‘s. Loved the grinder. The combination of chicken with prosciutto was fantastic. The hot peppers were just a bonus to go along with the melted provolone on the. Highly satisfied and five stars with my experience.
A classic spot for grinders in town! You can never go wrong with their Italian combo, and they have an awesome selection of hot food, pasta salad, and more. I love their bread, and the meat and produce is always fresh.
I used to go to Nardelli's alot even when there were other local delicatessens that gave more meat for less money. Because the the Milite's bread was so good. I have not been going much since Milite's closed, but my son and I just went to the Naugatuck one while we were out and I was very disappointed with the roasted turkey grinder I got. I didn't expect the bread to be great like it was, but it was pretty soft and bla. The turkey tasted like nothing, like the watery stuff that comes in plastic containers. I couldn't even taste the cheese and the vegetables were not good either and they are diced so small they fall off all over the place. So I got everything except olives and hot sauce and the sandwich had no flavor. Definitely not worth the money anymore. As there are much better places for a couple of dollars less per sandwich. They also put most of the meat right in the middle so where they cut it it looks like a lot, but there is almost nothing on the ends. I know that everything is expensive now, but we still make better sandwiches at home for about a third of the price.
They have absolutely delicious food, large sized portions and a huge variety of menu items to choose from. I especially enjoyed their big selection of desserts, with the "Mud Pie Parfait" being my favorite. Plus, the staff is always cheerful and willing to help in any way needed and are extremely fast at making your order. You couldn't wish for anything better, they are definitely worth trying out!
Great sandwich. Huge portions. Fast and friendly service. Can’t go wrong.
It was our first time visiting a Nordellis let me tell you it was absolutely yummy. It reminded me of the subs I used to buy at Wawas in my younger years just better.
The food is incredible but my favorite part is the amazingly beautiful big hearted staff that works there!! They definitely don’t let you leave dissatisfied
