In 1989 William Landmesser had a garage moved onto his property near the Penobscot River Narrows. At times the artist's art studio, at other times both studio and small gallery, in 2017 the space was dedicated to gallery only, with the artist's studio in the close by house. The name, Narrows Art Gallery, debuted in 2017, replacing Landmesser Paintings and before that Fern Hill Studio. The gallery is open year round, and includes an online gallery as well, at narrowsartgallery.com. The artist works in oil, watercolor and drawings.
