We visited the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center today with my 3.5 year old and 1 year old. We were not allowed in because my ONE YEAR OLD wasn't wearing a mask!!! A ONE YEAR OLD, the guy was extremely rude. While attempting to explain that per the CDC recommendation along with the Nashville Health department that kids under two should not wear a face mask due to suffocation. He responded with "So, I guess kids under two don't get Covid" so disrespectful.  My 3.5 year who was wearing one kept asking why we weren't going in. So ridiculous. Will NEVER step a foot in Shelby bottoms again.

Recently moved to Nashville from Coloradowhere parks and rec is top priority and, unfortunately am underwhelmed with Middle TN’s efforts to provided fun outdoor recreation for all. With so much growth, you would think they would put a little more money towards updating. Sad. This goes for Williamson County as well.

If I could have gotten this far without clicking any stars, I would have done so. We came for a lacrosse tournament at Ted Rhodes Fields and the restrooms were disgusting. Besides the fact that there was no running water, making every stall inoperable, they were full to the point of overflowing with human feces. There was no one on site from parks and rec that could address the issue. There was a feeble attempt to rectify the issue with a few porta  potty‘s, but with thousands of people on site, this is likely just a band-aid fix. Mind you it is over 90 degrees out here

Riverside park is always so clean Fernando & Mitch are friendly & take care of park. I bring my dog to park & dog area & thank them when i see them as they do a great job. They are picking up all the time !! Thank you !

Very very disappointed in the marina.  Clarkesville could give Nashville some pointers.  Clean, working water and power.  Very well run.

We are lucky to have so many great parks with so many good programs! Badminton, hiking.... nature, exercise... They have it all.
