Oh my GOSH I’m blown away by y’all! We’ve been to more than our fair share of dog daycares in the greater Nashville area, including having worked at several myself, and you guys are above and beyond the best we’ve been to yet! The staff is friendly, I was surprised with the cutest pics of my babes in the morning via text, I got direct links to their play area cameras, and that laminated photo spread at the end of the day had me embarrassingly close to tears. It totally summed up the attention you give to both owners and dogs. PLUSSSSSS my pups came home happy, smiling, and exhausted! Yay!! We’ll be back for sure.
We LOVEEEE Nashville Pet Spa. Nala has been going to daycare here for about a year now and they are the best! The dogs get to play all day and have so much fun, and they do fun little goodie bags or events for the dogs and it’s always so cute! For Valentine’s Day, they sent each pup home with a valentine and a tennis ball as pictured and I about died from the cuteness! The staff go above and beyond and it is so nice knowing I can leave Nala with their trustworthy staff. Everyone at NPS loves Nala and greets her by name when she comes in, and she’s always so excited when I tell her she’s going to daycare! I know they take such great care of all the dogs and can’t recommend them enough! Also, their grooming is great, too!:
The groomers are fantastic at NPS! Heather Anderson grooms my dog, and he always looks great! Full disclosure, I am blessed to be part of the NPS team, working in daycare for the Itty Bitties. All the dogs in our daycare and boarding receive so much love and care from a talented and loving staff.
We had been bringing our dogs for a couple of years for grooming and boarding with no issues. We took our Aussiedoodle to be groomedhe had been there previously with the same groomer as well as our little Maltese/Schnauzer mix and the groomer asked me before taking him back how short I would like him. I was VERY clear on the length as well as all of the other details for his grooming and she text me mid groom and said she accidentally used a shorter guard and had to blend the mistake to make it look ok. He was way shorter than I asked, and I was asked to pay in full for grooming even with the mistake on their part. It wasn’t until I complained strongly that they offered a free doggy day care day to make up for this. I can say that this groomer is normally amazing but was told she would no longer see my pets because I had expressed being unhappy. After that incident, we boarded both of our pets for 4 nights to pick them up on the scheduled date, late in the afternoon, and handed two soaking wet dogs that smelled like nothing but urine by the boarding manager, offered a towel to somewhat dry them before putting them in our vehicle, only to see within seconds that our Doodle was struggling severely. He could hardly stand. We immediately went to our vet within the hour$500 visit to be told he had Kennel Cough. I called Nashville Pet Spa and they told me that the boarding manager would contact me. She did call, and informed me that NEITHER of my dogs had eaten in the 4 nights/days they were there and that if I felt they would have any issues I should have brought some type of broth to add to their food to get them to eat but that they typically don’t call with that issue. My Doodle took almost two months to recover from that stay with these people. DO NOT TRUST YOUR DOGS WITH NASHVILLE PET SPA.
After months of using Rover we finally had a bad enough experience that we wanted to transition our two doodles to a regular daycare/boarding facility. One of our friends recommended Nashville Pet Spa to us and we couldn’t be happier!! The staff greet every dog by name when they arrive and I LOVE that you’re required to be a regular daycare customer to board so we know our and other dogs are familiar with the staff, facility, and each other. We appreciate the hours and flexibility to do half days or full days of daycare and the cameras to watch the pups the first few times we dropped them off helicopter pet parents here!. We love all the themed days they have throughout the year, our boarding “report cards” and regular photos uploaded to Facebook. Our dogs come home happy and tired!
Recently moved to Nashville and was recommended this place- and I am so glad they did! They welcomed me and my Aspen immediately and took the time to explain how their system works for day care and boarding. I expressed how much of a helicopter mom I am and they completely eased my anxiety. They provided me with the cutest report card from his first day. I also got him a bath and they did fantastic! Always so warm and welcoming when we come in, I’m super comfortable leaving my dog there and know he’s in good hands.
Could not recommend more!!! We literally pass a few boarding and day care places just to get to Nashville Pet Spa, but there’s no other place in the Nashville area I would trust. We have a 6 lb mini poodle puppy and the idea of daycare and boarding was extremely scary just because of all the crazy stories we have heard. On my dog’s first day of daycare, he was so sad to have to leave, and woke up the next couple mornings excited, hoping to go back. Our dog loves other dogs but can get scared at times and from what we saw checking in on the cameras, staff did a great job of not only monitoring play time but loving on the dogs. I remember a moment when we checked in and a a staff member picked up our little guy and gave him the sweetest hug, it melted our heart. There are so many amazing options here. We did a whole week of boarding, which leading up to I was overwhelmingly anxious but after day care, Nashville Pet Spa has completely earned my trust in all ways possible. My major concern overall was his safety, which I never worried about once over the course of his stay. On top of that, they do so many little things that us pet parents appreciate: cameras, taking pictures, pet report cards. My husband and I joked that our little guy had a better vacation than us and is happy there then he is at home at times. After a weeks stay not only was he clean, safe, healthy, and taken care of, but he was also happy and comfortable, which is more than you can ask for. For all that they offer, their pricing is very competitive. Will continue with day care as our little guy is dying to go back and to recommend Nashville Pet Spa to everyone I know.
I’ve been sending my dog here for daycare about once a week for the past year and a half . She loves it, it’s allowed her to get some energy out and learn to play with other dogs , and I love that I can watch her on video outside at any time!! Great staff too. Highly recommend :
This is by far the best grooming business I have taken my pooches. Every single person is extremely friendly, and they go above and beyond to provide the best service for their customers and pet clientele. Dogs are not kept in a kennel but play and interact in an open area with staff supervision. Also, they are groomed in phases. Customers can even watch on a public video feed. After grooming is complete and upon pick-up, you are provided with a report card of how your pet did. In addition, their prices are very competitive. For reference, we have a 25 lbs dog, and the base price for his grooming session is $50. Again, a fantastic experience for us and our dogs. We will definitely be going back.
The total for her haircut was $120. I asked them to keep her fro. It’s patchy, uneven, and they cut her fro. I was very specific about keeping her fro, so I’m not sure why they chose to cut it back. When I told them it was uneven, she told me that she has curly hair so it will never be even. Then she asked how I wanted them to fix her fro. When I told her my old groomer in Alabama always did a great job of making her even, she told me that the most experienced groomer was the one who did Midge. I would have hoped they would have acknowledged my frustration and apologized instead of just telling me how great the groomer is, and unless we can glue her hair back on we can’t fix her fro. Overall, I was very disappointed at the customer service and the haircut. I would love to see the picture they have of the haircut they gave Midge that’s different than what I saw! The before/after was two weeks before her appointment and then right after we left. I always fully admit when I trim her hair. I apologized for my frustration and the receptionist said ‘honey, I would be the same way.’ I was absolutely frustrated but I did not talk down to anyone or make any personal attacks. To condemn my character and accuse me of posting random pictures is so silly.
