Incredible library! Outstanding resources! Very cozy atmosphere when reading. Has therapeutic flowers @ times & nature inspired walking track.
Beautiful library with helpful staff and a puppet stage for more creative fun.
I visit this library at least once a week! Being able to place holds from any branch of the NPL and pick up here is an amazing perk. Honestly, my average time spent in the building is probably 2 minutes if I’m not browsing. I run in, grab my stuff from the holds shelf which is immediately to the right, self check out, and I’m out of there. Thankfully there is always staff to help if I run into any unexpected issues which I think has only happened once when I didn’t understand Lucky Day rentals—which are awesome! or if I misplaced my card. They have many services like computers and printers, and so many things other than just books. I have rented books, digital and CD audiobooks, talking books, playaways, and they of course have music and DVDs too. I have utilized the free seed exchange, and now they have a “library of things” where you can borrow everything from a sewing machine, musical instruments, and athletic gear, to different tools and devices for your home. Super awesome resource. The library has many seating options inside, and the outside is great too. Parking has never been an issue for me. There is a very small park attached with a quick little sidewalk loop, that also attaches to the larger sidewalk that will take you into the heart of Green Hills. Often after running in to grab my holds, I take my dog who waited patiently in the car for the 1 minute I was inside for a lap around the sidewalk—it’s about all the old man is up for : there are also benches there if you want to sit and read. My only complaint is the hours. While the library is open decently late, I do wish they opened a bit earlier. Some days I would love to be able to pop in on my way to work or before heading out for the day. Can’t have everything you want, I guess! But that would be my only suggestion. Also note that immediately after school hours, many kids from Hillsboro High use this as a place to convene until their parent is able to pick them up. That does make the afternoon hours a bit more crowded and noisy.
Always a great library experience. The study rooms are first come first serve but people rotate pretty easily so you get a chance. They have a great selection of books and a huge kids area and a separate teen space.
Very nice branch with a good selection. Their employees are very nice, and it has a good amount of foot traffic. I come here a few times a week to study and check out audio books playaways are fantastic.
Nice, near & calm location even though it’s close to busy road!!
GO VOTE! Super quick and easy process.
Great space with lots of books, audiobooks, DVDs, etc. & places to sit!
Great neighborhood location and parking. Easy access.
Large selection of books, videos and other items. They even have a seed exchange and ukelele rentals. It is quiet with easy parking and a nature trail next to it. They also have self serve checkout available. Also, they sort books alphabetically and by type instead of using purely the Dewey decimal system, which is unusual but makes it easier to find books. Great place to find a new release or a hidden gem.
