The mission of the City of Natchitoches Recreation and Parks Department is to provide all Natchitoches residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy a diverse mix of well-maintained, safe, accessible areas and facilities within the City’s park system. The department also seeks to offer a variety of indoor/outdoor recreational opportunities and innovative programming, which may benefit and enhance an individual quality of life and well being.
Offering organized sports in football, basketball partnerships in Dixie Youth Baseball and the Natchitoches Youth Soccer League as well as adult activities and community projects. Facilities are also available for rent.
