The purpose of this Pre-Law Division is to articulate and promote the educational, professional, political, and social needs and goals of pre-law students.

Description

National Black Student Association at SUNY Plattsburgh purpose is to increase awareness about the law, law school admissions, preparation for the LSAT, and other various issues that are important to our society. We are a inclusive club that is open to everyone student interested in the United States Legal System. We are currently a chapter that is establish from the "National Black Law Students Association." PBLSA offers learning events, and opportunities for members of the Association and the Plattsburgh University community. We strive to provide a forums about serious issues that are prominent in society. Those included criminal justice reform, diversity within American Jurisprudence, social issues, and international issues. We also aim to serve as a support network for students that are interested in pursuing law school or seeking information regarding our legal system.

Mission

PBLSA has embarked on a year of dynamic events. We are absolutely enthused about fostering community and strengthening ties within Plattsburgh University and the Greater Plattsburgh area. Realizing that true strength is in our numbers, we believe that fortifying our coalition building endeavors, along with enhancing our academic legal enrichment activities, and community service will take our organization to new grounds!
