We have had very successful experiences with NBF over the past few years. The items have been high quality, and the customer service is second to none. In particular, Brielle Michna in the Milwaukee office is top notch, and completely understands what Customer Success is : Here is our most recent purchase, the table and adjustable desk, and a prior purchase, the mesh desk chair. Completely satisfied, and happy that Brielle assisted us along the way!
Update 7/28/22 - the desks we ordered in January, finally arrived in July. Luckily, in my frustration I found Brielle Michna's name in the reviews here. Someone said she was wonderful. I guessed at her email address based off of other email addresses from the company, and Brielle emailed me right back. I told her the experience I had this far, and she dedicated herself to making our experience a better one from that point out. She promised weekly updates and followed through. She found the real problem and let me know what it was. She was very transparent, which I greatly appreciated after I felt we weren't cared about by other customer service reps. Brielle took over our case completely until the desks arrived. I would rate Brielle 5 stars on her own. I am updating my review from 1 to 3 stars, because we were not told the desks were not available when we ordered, and we had no idea we would wait this long for desks. If we were informed that would be different. I do feel the customer service we dealt with prior to Brielle, was not good either. It was a long frustrating experience, overall. The furniture itself, I would also rate 5 stars. Now that we have the desks put together, they really are nice. I am happy we waited for these to be available instead of picking something else available. _____________ I ordered 2 desks for thousands of dollars in JANUARY. It is now the end of May and they cannot tell me when my desks will be delivered. They promised a $200 refund for the inconvenience over a month ago. I have not seen that and when I ask about it I am ignored. I send multiple emails with no response. They still cannot confirm a delivery date and are still telling me my furniture is on backorder. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
Purchased office furniture from them in the past. Great salesman and product. Today spoke with a representative from their Milwaukee office. The guy was not helpful in finding the new salesman for my area. He found a name but wouldn't provide an email address of the salesperson. Poor representation of their company and the person should be trained on improving their customer service. If NBF is not doing well financially they may want to look at their customer service reps first.
I highly recommend this company. I ordered a large conference table online and unfortunately it was damaged when it arrived. They were amazingly helpful throughout the entire process. They have excellent communication and a willingness to go above for their customers. I noticed some negative reviews and I think that can be contributed to user errors -everything about their ordering and delivery policies are clearly posted and I did not have those same issues. Really great experience working with these people And Rayven was amazing - she deserves her own recognition!!
Placed an order on May 23 for $10,778.00 for an office suite. On June 28th it was delivered. The $2600 desk had the corners broken off. NBF offered a $200 discount and some touch up paint for the desk.What a joke.The $1700 credenza had a hunk of wood missing. The $2600 book cases were missing. Almost one month later and the book cases were just located yesterday. Still not delivered but at least they were found. Now were are another 5 weeks out until we will see the desk and still have no idea about the credenza. Customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.They do not follow through and never call or email back when they say they will. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from them. National Business Furniture will drain the life from you just trying to get what you paid for.update 07/26 bookcases delivered and both damaged.
Good Afternoon! We wanted to write all of you to let you know that todays installation was PHENOMENAL! One of the owners here has been in this business for over 30 years and said that he has never seen a more professional or smooth installation. On top of the actual labor that was done, the kindness, care, consideration and attentiveness of the workers was just superb. They worked very quickly and put everything together perfectly. They were extremely helpful and such a pleasure to have in our office. Needless to say, we are beyond impressed and pleased with every single aspect of our experience with you guys! The quality and beauty of the furniture is also incredible. From beginning to end of this project, from placing our order to delivery your company were very accommodating and considerate. One of the items was even damaged and the guys made us aware and are bringing a replacement. Thank you so much to everyone who assisted us with this process.
If you are an individual ordering for your home office, DO NOT purchase here. Their website does not tell you that you will have to make your own arrangements for delivery from a local freight company and be home the entire day to unload your items. They do not provide tracking numbers unless you call customer service. My delivery has now been cancelled twice by the freight company, once because they forgot to load my item and once because the lift gate supposedly broke after my item was already on the truck. I'm now rescheduled a third time, fingers crossed, but honestly not hopeful. My fiance and I adjusted our work schedules three times now to accommodate unloading this desk. Will it be four?
We ordered $10k worth of office furniture, it has truly been a disaster! Furniture was ordered in November, and STILL to this date 2/17 is not correct. They first delivered a chair with the incorrect fabric, also a table was damaged. It took 4 weeks to get both pieces delivered again, they then brought the incorrect chair. So they ordered a new one, and I emailed twice a few days a part for an update, NEVER got a response until my third email weeks later I mentioned a manager. Then one of the sales representatives emailed me by a mistake a very sarcastic email about me completely unprofessional she tried to recall the email, unfortunately for her that did not work. So finally the furniture after weeks gets delivered again, it is the same fabric, still incorrect. No one has answers, the manager has yet to reach out himself. Oh and I did send him the rude email I received, he never responded to that. Another sales representative did offer to give us a refund of $500 after I asked. We had planned on ordering more furniture for 9 more rooms and will NOT use this company. It's just been one head ache after another with no one knowing what is going on.
Ordered a chair from them at the end of July. First they called to question my address, which was very strange. I’ve never had a company be confused on the fact my billing address isn’t the same as my shipping address. Then they said it would arrive August 13th. I check again around August 10th and it says August 14th by end of day. I still don’t have the chair I ordered 3 weeks ago. Seems a little ridiculous that all the other furniture I ordered for my new apartment arrived before the piece I ordered first.
Great selection of furniture at a very affordable rate. We compared their prices to the original manufacturer sites for some pieces and they were often $200-400 cheaper including shipping & handling. We had some issues with an outside vendor delivering the pieces, but NBF was on it with excellent customer service; called us regularly to let us know that they were working on it, and always took our comments and questions seriously. This is definitely a group of people who understand their clientele, their needs, and work with them to ensure the best experience when purchasing and picking out new furniture. Delivery issues aside which wasn't the fault of NBF, we would definitely use them again in the future.
