I would like to thank the representatives who work the National Car Rental Service Counter, at the White Plains Airport, for their first-class customer service, always courteous and professional. I normally book my reservations online, and the pickup of my car rental is always easy. No high-pressure sales tactics, which really turn me off. These days, when travel can be hectic, National Car Rental is able to offer a convenient and comfortable experience, making our air travel easier. For this reason, I have been using them for all my car rental needs, for many years. Their cars are clean and reliable. Their impeccable attention to detail, to all of your needs, leaves you with a WOW experience!
It was pretty smooth as far as picking up the vehicle at the airport. Unfortunately the car was covered in dirt. It also still had the remnants of the window sticker on the window. It was embarrassing pulling up to a classy wedding in it. I wish we weren't pressed for time or we would have refused to take it.
The car I was given was very comfortable and nice. I do with I would have been offered a transponder for the numerous tolls required in the NY area. Once receiving my toll statement I noticed there was a service charge but not sure what that was for. Again, It would have been nice if it was at least mentioned during the rental process. I would have had an opportunity to bring my own transponder which would have been compatible with the local systems and saved hundreds of dollars.
I am traveling every week and have been trying different companies. National has been the most trouble free and easy to deal with. I have tried numerous over the past few months trying to find a home. Hertz sucked badly 2 hours to get a car with reservations. The thing that I liked most about National was they did not hold from $200 to $500 in addition to the rental fee while I had the car! If you work on an expense account. That could crash you business card while you are waiting for expenses to go through! National is now my home.
I left a mediocre review because the car I got was filthy. I was contacted and told they would like to speak to me. Three times I was emailed and asked what a good time for a phone call would be. I told them when I would be available and they never called me. Now they've just stopped contacting me all together. Pretty disappointing. I will not be using them ever again now.
Easy in and out, no $200 security Deposit, walked past counter really seamless. I have rented several cars from this airport and by far the easiest. Just made a new reservation for next week with National.
We dropped off our car early 9/19 at HPN before the National desk opened. Dropped the keys in the dropbox and got on the plane. Then received the invoice that indicated the drop off location was Xerox in Norwalk CT and our invoice went from the agreed $418 to $1747 due to wrong drop off location. I have made 5 calls on 5 days in the past 7 days requesting that the invoice be corrected and for a refund of the $1329 overcharge. NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ABLE to help and NO ONE at the HPN desk, which I am told is the ONLY way to make a correction to an incorrect drop off location, is answering the phone. I seem to be in HOLD purgatory, for a second time...again over 20 mins so far! So unacceptable. We have no choice but to contact Mastercard to report the charge as fraudulent.
Jalisa DeGrace checked me in and checked me out. I found her very delightful to deal with. A great smile and a wonderful personality made for a great car rental experience.
Rented a car from national at westchester airport. One of best experiences i have had with in person rental. Very small line, excellent customer service, offered a class upgrade, easy to drop off. Pleasure from soup to nuts.
I just want to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge the National Team Steve, Samba, and Jalisa at HPN. The Manager Steve is so professional at what he does. He took the time to check the inventory to assure that a vehicle was available that would accommodate my needs. Steve went the extra mile to make sure everything was completed for my rental. I would give him an A ++ for customer service. Without his help I wouldn’t have been able to make it. Steve is doing a phenomenal job at managing his team. He definitely needs a promotion and acknowledgment, and he also deserves to be rewarded for his hard work. I was so please with the customer service provided by Samba he was under alit of pressure but he kept his composure and some how managed to help everyone equally and professionally. Samba is exceptional at his job, he is truly an asset to the National Team. Jalisa did a wonderful job cross checking the inventory and making all the calls to facilitate the process of completing my rental. She is also an asset to the National Team! Please acknowledge them for doing such a great job! They are superstars and deserve recognition for helping to keep National on top!
