Cars are ready and trunks open when you get there for east out... Upon arrival associated had me checked out before I even was able to get out of the car. Clean and we'll maintained vehicle. I do miss the sanitizer wipe in the cars though. And a few more sporty options on the executive line would be appreciated. Even though I never went above 55 the entire 24hrs due to NY traffic...
Exemplary car rental experience. You can tell that everyone at this National is laser focused on providing customers a top notch, personal experience. I appreciated the email shortly after picking up my rental with all the contact info I would need. The best part was the return experience. I usually rent from Hertz, so I don’t know if this is a thing at all National locations but I really appreciated the associate who came over in the drop off lane to assess the car and close out the transaction in front of me. Knowing everything was in order gave me peace of mind.
I use National on a regular basis for work, and couldn’t be more satisfied with the customer service and efficiency of this location. These guys are doing it right! I’ve had so many issues and have wasted so much time with other rental companies due to lines and apathetic staff. You never have to worry about that here. Every time I return the car, an agent is there to greet me and check me out. This team deserves all the recognition for providing outstanding service.
Good quality cars in Emerald Aisle. There was a computer problem which delayed departure by probably 30 minutes, but all employees were polite and professional, and National took $25 off the rental price. Return was easy, and the young man who received our car was polite, helpful and professional. National Car Rental understands good customer service!
Our flight was delayed two hours so naturally I called to make National aware. I was told not to worry because the reservation would be held for 24 hours. That voice on the other end reassured me and made me happy o had chosen National. When I got to LaGuardia after the shuttle and dispute the late hour we were met by the smiling face of Marilyn who rushed off to bring the car. While we were waiting on her return we were asked by another employee if we had been helped. Needless to say I was shocked because that just doesn’t happen in 2023. Marilyn returned a beautiful, clean extremely low mileage SUV. She said she had a choice and decided to chose the one with the lowest mileage. She was so warm, friendly and engaging in conversation. She even mentioned that she had been a police officer in her previous career but now did this not because she had to but because she loved people and being of help. I would certainly recommend National if you are renting as I have never had a bad experience. Employees such as Marilyn make a dramatic difference in whether you walk away with a feeling of having had great service or whether you were just another number. Kudos to Marilyn and the entire National team, keep up the good work.
I've been renting from National for many years now, and I have to say, they are far and away thr best car rental company out there. Aside from nice perks such as the Executive and Emerald Aisles for members so you can choose your own vehicle and go without waiting in line at larger sites, and fairly quickly moving lines at smaller sites without those aisles, their staff at ALL sites I have been to around the country have always been friendly and helpful, which any frequent greatly appreciates after a long flight. Returning rentals is always a breeze, and they email the receipts so I don't have another thing to carry or more likely lose... on my way home. On a very rare occasion, I've had to rent from another company if National did not have any availability, and it's always a frustrating experience comparatively. Thank you for always making my travels a bit easier!
This is a bit overdue, but I want to commend their customer service experience at the LGA airport location. I had an invoice issue with my rental back in 3/26/23. Catherine O., the station manager, and Christian were pleasant and were able to help rectify the issue in a timely and painless manner. I've rented from that location since and the high level of service is consistent each time. Thank you to the team!
Laurence the greeter was very nice and very helpful. The reasons for not giving 5 stars are: 1. When I went to leave with the car the price was over $300 from the price when I booked it. If I wasn't paying attention, I would have paid a lot more money. The cashier had to get a supervisor to adjust the price which wasted time that I didn't have. and 2. While the emails give directions on how to find the rental bus shuttle, when it is time to return the car - they are not easy to find. The gps sends you all over the place and there are no clear signs of how to find them from the airport. I drove around for over 45 minutes before I found them by accident. All the rental car places are not in one central area, they are split into a few locations around the airport some one one side of the hwy and some on the other side of the hwy. The should provide directions on how to find them to return the car with the same details of how to find their shuttle at the airport.
National in Queens NY is the best! Always an easy in and out with them, staff is professional & helpful when needed. We recently had two flights cancelled and they found us a car via a call to their location - the web said no cars, and were able to drive home vs having another flight cancelled. I've had terrible experiences with Hertz when traveling for business, never any with National. Bravo!
Check out and check in was fast and efficient. Interior of car could have used a better cleaning, there was a noticeable accumulation of dust and crumbs throughout the front of the car. No other issues were noted.
