National City Library

We just moved here from Atlanta. I don't know if it's just me or but some of the stuff are kind of racist. They only pick at my kids. They always have something to say to me but it be other race come in and they never said nothing to them. The parents be loud the kids be loud they don't say nothing. And my kids come in they be respectful sometimes I have to tell them be quiet but they never do nothing to nobody and they always pick on them. I'll be sitting in the car and my kids be inside using the computer and they told me that I can't sit in my car but it be kids coming from school be there by himself and they don't say nothing.. my kids love their library but sometimes I have to tell my kids not to say nothing to a certain stuff because how they treat them I hate to be like that but that's the way I have to be when I come in hopefully we will find a new library soon.

Big clean library, friendly and attentive staff, upstairs resource center for classes, huge DVD selection and lightning fast internet connect. Days and hours of operation is a bit different, they are open on Tue, Wed and Sat and closed the rest of the week. They are not connected with the San Diego Public Library System so you will need a library card for this library.

Great library! FYI you will need to get a different card here though since they do not run under SD city or SD county library systems, but it takes only 5mins with proof of address

A library with quite a lot of selection considering the small City. There are hundreds if not over a thousand movies you can borrow, and they have a pretty good computer lab as well.

Outside of the college/university library system, this is easily one of my favorite libraries in San Diego. It's quiet, the study desks are plentiful, the hours are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and power is accessible. Also, I don't know what it is about the chairs at this library, but these are easily the best desk chairs I have ever sat in, that did not also include a cushion. A potential drawback is that it is often very cold in here, so just bring a sweater.

This library is nice and large. Didn't get to spend much time so I can't give a full review but definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!
