Have used them for years - got a generator after superstorm Sandy. Always responsive, reliable and trustworthy.
When prepping a home there is so much to think about. I for one do not want to be left out in the cold. Back up protection is essential in our region. I feel safe and in good hands knowing my generator was installed and managed by these hardworking and dedicated professionals.
They were very prompt and didn't take long to do their job. The tech explained everything thoroughly and was very knowledgeable and told me what to expect the following year with my generators condition it was in.
We used National Standby on the recommendation of a neighbor and we were very happy with them. They helped us understand the whole process, and helped us select a generator for our needs. They were here when they said they would be, did what they said they would do, and were pleasant to deal with. We needed a special service once oil change because of an extended power outage, and they came right away to take care of it. We have recommended them to others.
Horrendous customer service on the phone. I call in for tech support on recently serviced equipment company stickers placed within the last month. End up Getting told off and to send an email. Whom ever answered the phone for me; needs a job elsewhere ASAP. Just plain rude
These guys are great! They keep my generator running beautifully. And the one time there was a problem, they were right out to fix it -- on Christmas morning no less! The peace of mind you get from having a generator is great. The peace of mind you get with National Standby makes it even better.

When a major summer storm knocked out electric and phone lines across the entire county, we were happy our generator kicked in. Unfortunately, after a few days it failed leaving my 97-year-old mother without power for critical air conditioning and other essentials. Despite the high demand from others for assistance, Chris at National Standby Repair was able to get a service technician to the house within 3 hours even having to trek around downed power lines and a large tree to get there. A necessary part was not in stock, but National Standby went the extra yard calling around to find the part more quickly and they were able to get the generator up and running the next day. It is clear that National Standby Repair not only stands behind their service contracts, but also cares about the clients they serve.
Great reliable service...use National Standby for my annual maintenance to make sure my generator is always ready.
