Nationwide Childern's Hospital

I have brought both of my younger children here MULTIPLE times for everything from concussions, dislocated shoulders to chest pain and they have ALWAYS been wonderful. Will you have a long wait?? Maybe, depends on the day, but it's worth the care provided.

They care more about money and booking needless extra appointments than the actual care of your child. Disappointment after disappointment.

Waited 45 minutes until someone finally came to room. Doctor did not introduce himself, just started asking questions in a barely understandable tone. We brought our X-rays per instructions, only to be told the technician couldn't read them or use something more than two weeks old. Fun meter pegged, we left.

Horrible service! Went there with my 8 month old that was super congested and with a horrible cough. The first thing they said was that they were not busy and it would be a fast check! After being in the room we waited for over an hour to see the doctor! Kids get impatient normally and more when they are not feeling good! Waiting over an hour to see a doctor when they are not “busy” is absurd! Is supposed to be urgent care for a reason!

Plan at least an hour wait. I've never gotten out of the waiting and into the room with a doctor in under an hour. Then it takes for ever to finish up the paperwork. You will be here a LONG time. One time we sat in the room waiting for the doctor for an hour and a half and there were no other patients, halls were quiet accept for staff laughing and carrying on. When the doc finally came in she was rude and never even acknowledged that we'd been waiting for so long. Staff was also rude and dismissive. Happens every time whether they look busy or not.

Ive been bringing my daughter here since her firat appointment, I love the nurses and the pediatrics! They work very with my daughter and help her feel comfterable, this location is thumbs up by me!

Dr Fernandes is *amazing.* however, they are always an hour+ behind schedule. I had an appointment with my baby at 945 AM and was late to pick up my daughter from preschool at noon because they were so far behind. This happens all the time. I have to schedule an entire day off just to go to a well baby visit because I never know if I’ll be there for 2 hours or 5 not kidding. Every time I go I decide to switch pediatricians, but I love Dr Fernandes, so I end up staying. Just be warned- they do not respect your time, and you will spend the whole day in the waiting room. Also, they are super weird about insurance and hard to deal with the billing office. Great doctor, terrible on everything else. You’ve been warned.

Medical staff was ok, but waiting time was long, receptionist and security guy were irritable and mean. Had to bring 6 year old son to urgent care because someone jumped on him and hurt his arm, and had to drag our 3 year little one along with us. Waited about an hour in waiting area. When went to ask receptionist which we checked in with about the waiting time, the receptionist just accused me not being patient and suggested me to go to a different place. I replied I didn't want to go to a different place. Then a security guy got involved and wanted to remove me from the building. I almost got in to something physical with the security guy, then we were called by medical staff. Complained to consumer relationship office etc, after and they pretty much sided with their staff. I complained further to independent consumer protection agency and don't know what happened after since they said they would not communicate with me about investigation result. For me, I am not going back to this place, at all. There are other locations. Not sure whether it's because we are visually minority. I have never had such experience in past 20 years.

Nationwide children's hospital is amazing they saved my daughter's life! We are forever grateful that she had such great care from all the staff at Nationwide!

We had a great experience here! All of the staff were wonderful! We got there right when they were closing which we hate to do because we know people want to go home, but since our daughter was having some shortness of breath and wheezing we decided last minute to take her in. She was seen right away by a physician and a nurse. Many urgent cares have PAs and NPs and though I know they are good at what they do, it was nice to see a physician at one since I know they have more training with schooling. They seemed to genuinely care and took the time to listen to our concerns despite being their last patient of the day. They sent us home with an inhaler and face mask so there was no need to find a pharmacy late at night. We can not say enough wonderful things about this urgent care! Thank you Dr. Sotos and staff!
