As a storefront I feel this place has a lot of potential that is being encumbered by the people who work here. They made it obvious that they were waiting for me to try to steal something because they watched me the whole time. I should have walked out for being treated like some sort of undesirable. No one greeted me when I walk in. The staff look at me suspiciously but I make my way to the deli anyway. I stand there at the deli counter looking at the menu for literally 3 or 4 minutes while the bearded guy behind ignores me. He says literally not a word, so I go. The lady behind me approaches and he immediately greets her and takes her order. I grab a cliff bar, pay for it which I am sure shocked them, and leave. I was in that store for 10 minutes and I swear that literally the only thing said to me was: "$5.18". No please, no thank you, no words were spoken to me, just numbers to indicate their demand. What a shame, there is such a vital need for the community to be able to access non-GMO and organic foods. But the people who work here have made their self appointed elitism and distain for the average person very clear. I tried 3 times now to be a customer here. I won't be trying again.
I used to love natural provisions. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Unfortunately in recent months and since they lost a certain staff remember, their deli has gone down hill. Their lunch offerings used to be so diverse and really branched away from typical American food. They always had gf options, lots of vegetables and the food was exciting. Now I feel like it’s become run of the mill cafeteria food and their to-go deli section is really disappointing and the quality has declined don’t even get me started on those new gf chicken fingers and the loss of the eat more kale salad. I know it’s hard to lose creativity in the kitchen and maybe the dishes you used to offer left with the cook, but it’s quite the let down. Most times I go in I leave empty handed. Even the produce section has dwindled. I know it’s hard times but I do think they’ve lost their spark. I will continue to try but I’m worried that they will loose their footing as st J grows. The grocery section is still a life saver but 70% of my business was the deli.
Love the carmelized kale salad it's the best yummy
This deli has a great menu. The Omnomnom Sandwich with sliced beef tenderloin is awesome!! Order it "panini" style. The Banh Mi has the perfect amount of heat. I've also had the Spicy Peanut Wrap and the Reuben. All amazing and fresh. I'm looking forward to sampling the rest of the menu!!!
I never write reviews. A year and half ago I vowed I would never go in this place again because of how rude the staff was. I had a cold and came in 15 minutes before closing looking for some soup. The woman behind the register started going on and on rather loudly about people who come in at the last minute to a gentleman I believe to be the manager. When I went to check out, I commented on how I was actually 15 minutes before they closed and everyone just sort of stared at me. No awkward "oops, I didn't mean for you to hear that" or "sorry". I have only been in this place a handful of times since because I would rather drive 20 minutes than deal with rudeness. Today I ran in for a sandwich and when I asked the guy behind the deli counter if he could do that for me, he 100% clear as day rolled his eyes and looked like he was thanking a higher power when I decided against it because the bread I was looking for was gone. Such gross behavior.
I love shopping here. Looking for fresh and organic? This is the place for you. Allergy friendly. Tons of options that are gluten free and vegan friendly. I highly recommend checking it out. Great place for a healthy start.
New take home pizza is great on a busy night. For both meat lovers and vegans. Can’t wait to try their sushi.
WE stopped by to check it out because the sign out front said wine tasking. when we got inside there was nothing. we had a hard time finding the wine itself.. it was allot to find it.. we were happy to find some... would like to have more signage for directions.
Great source of natural foods and drinks, unique gift items, and they have some great take out food. Grab something to eat here and then head over to Dog Mountain for a picnic even if you don't have a dog
Very nice shop, but prices are high, even compared to other natural food stores I have been to. Nevertheless, they do have sales where you can get fantastic deals on products
