NatureWorks Park

This park is a hidden gem. Many informational posts detail vegetation. Two pavilions, one you can rent. A turtle habitat. Trails to walk. Serene, beautiful and peaceful. Restrooms: An outdoor John is available.

Could use some upkeep, but it would be a nice place to take kids 1st and 2nd graders. Dog-friendliness: You can walk your dog there. Just don't be a pig and clean up after it. Picnic area: It has 2 nice size pavilions. Very clean.

CALLING ALL NATURE LOVERS!! Surprise Surprise!!! This is pretty sweet spot!!! Come check it out!! FYI!..There is a restroom porta-john..next to the red barn! Restrooms: Next to the red barn Dog-friendliness: They allow pets but have a pet policy! Picnic area: 2 picnic shelters

Beautiful nature walk at this park! Well marked trees, shrubs, and flowers with identification cards! Birds everywhere! The big green food truck loved it there!

I had the park all to myself, which was actually pretty neat. It's also the first park I got to take my son too. My son is 13 months now so he can't fully enjoy the park but he still loves the scenery!

What a lovely little park! Nice walking or running paths, educational signs along the way! Even 2 little free libraries!

Excellent new resource for the Hollidaysburg -area and beyond. I am excited to see how this place impacts the local area, because it is more than a nice place to enjoy the outdoors, it is a place where you can observe different methods for managing habitat, to include riparian areas. Giving the interested person a sense of what method might work best for their own area of responsibility. Plus the wetlands boardwalk is just really cool.

It's small but a perfect place to simply stroll around and enjoy nature.

Nice park just wish it had some large trees in the center of the park for shade.

Great budding wetland. Fun place to take a walk and get some air.
