Nautilus Middle School

This place is terrible. They give way too much homework, expect to stay up until 2:00 in the morning. They stress you out badly for a gargantuan amount of standardized tests. There are lots of bullying, as the staff does nothing about it. The worst problem is probably drugs, alcohol, smoking. A kid offered me a cigarette once, this kid in my Spanish class is always vaping and snorting baking soda. Sometimes I think it's real drugs, I've seen what seems to be cocaine in the bathrooms. During PE, some people run from the school to deal drugs. You also learn nothing, and are expected to do super well. Do not go here, do yourself a favor.

This school is the worst and I am not saying it just because the work I am saying it because the kids there are horrible. They bring adult thing to that school and bully everyone. Plz take my advice and never go to that school. I was a student there for a mounth and it was horrible. Now that I left the school I get random phone calls and text saying that they all want to kill me and calling me bad words. If u want your kid to go there and commit suicide then go ahead. The teachers are lazy and the kids always skip class. I am glad I am out of that bad school. The kids are saying they like it because u do no work there at all. They barely give out homework and badly teach u anything. I hate that school and glad I am going to a different one.

This school is great and most of my friends love it too. I learn a lot and have a lot of fun. There are some drugs but they are only used by the kids who haven't been given a chance to get past them.

I used to go to this school. It was fun especially because me and my friend Ivan did parkour. Some teachers cared about you others were crap. The school did have kids with drugs but not much. I remember when the 6th graders started to sell porn. Lol good times.

My son attended Nautilus for 6th & 7th grade until he transferred to a Charter school and I have no complaints. The office staff at Nautilus was always helpful and pleasant specially Ms. Diaz. There were a couple of teachers that in my opinion needed to motivate students better and teach more effectively but other than that, I don't think it's a bad school comparing to other public schools in Miami-Dade. There are the usual issues with students fighting once in a while and although my son and I never saw it, drugs at the school have been mentioned in some of the other reviews again, I never saw any of that but with that said, I'm a FIRM believer that it all starts from home. If you teach your child right and always stay involved in what he or she is doing, you will have no problems.

This school has been upgraded in every way. The PTSA has been fundraising for upgrades like tons of new computers, science tables, art tables, bathroom hand dryers, new bottle fill water fountains all over the school.I am a parent of 7th & 8th grade boys and they love Nautilus Middle School. So many kids from North Beach Elementary have come over to Nautilus and all the bad reviews seem to be from kids just messing around with this review site.. This is a great public school that is very warm and welcoming to parents and the school uniform store is where you can go to ask about anything. I would definitely reccommend sending your kid there. all the kids I ask love their experiance there. GO SHARKS!!!

The school is amazing. My daughter attends this school. It continues to meet and surpass our expectations every year. The junior scholars program is fantastic.

The teachers are as clear as the dirty mirrors in the bathrooms. There is more broken water fountains than working ones so you have to walk across the school to get a drink.

This school isn't all as bad,except for the fact they don't fire a teacher who is calling kids names and other stuff. She's horrible, but I don't have her,thank goodness

This school sucks tbh because 1.They dont go on fieldtrips or pe 2.They sell drugs and get high 3.The staff and teachers and principles are a mess 4.They bully u about your size only if youre fat 5.They rape and have sex with your child and you dont be knowing 6.Dont have clean bathrooms people poop on the wall making them dirty and the staff dont care so BEWARE being send to that bad school 7.THE CAFETERIA LUNCH TASTES LIKE SKUNKS AND MAKE YOU WANNA THROW UP SO BEWARE This school is one of the worst schools to send your child tooo.............
