The Naval Air Station Glenview's mission is to tell the story of those who served at Naval Air Station Glenview (NASG) by educating future leaders.
- During World War II, the Naval Air Station Glenview trained over 30,000 Navy personnel, including 24,000 pilots. It hosted all five branches of the military from World War II through the Gulf War.
- Aviation legends and leaders trained at NASG, include: George H.W. Bush, Neil Armstrong, Robert Taylor, and Charles Lindbergh.
Please visit this incredible museum the next time you're in the Chicagoland area. Hours are Saturday and Sunday - 10:30 - 5:00. Admission is free; however, there is a donation box upon exiting the museum. Next door is an incredible store called "On Final Approach" which features aeronautical gifts and memorabilia.
