Ive been seeing Dr. Navarro for several years now and currently she is employing The absolute worst admin staff I've ever delt with. lm sure Dr. Navarro is unaware of how unprofessional Carman williams is. It's unfortunate Dr. Navarro has people like this interacting with her patients. They are extremely rude and disrespectful. Carman Williams is very unhelpful, rude, disrespectful and not willing to help in any way when a patient is trying to follow up on a matter the doctor assured me would be handled. She refused to forward me to a complaint department or give an email that would allow me to notify the Doctor of her disrespect and unprofessionalism. Hopefully Dr. Navarro will eventually see this review. UPDATE 6/5/2023 Today I received a letter in the mail from Navarro pain control group stating that after being a patient for 5+ years I will no longer be cared for here. It wasn't signed by the doctor and i never received a call back from her so she could hear how her patients are being treated by her staff. Check out her rating. Clearly this is an ongoing problem and its delt with by refusing to care for the patients. I have no idea if the doctor is aware of what's going on in her practice or not but I'm certain based on what was said in the letter that my above review is why I am being dropped as a patient. I would recommend to anyone who sees this review to request a different pain doctor if you're unlucky enough to get paired up with this one. It's a shame because Dr. Navarro and the people who work in the back are great. It's ALL the administrative people. They're the worst I've ever delt with.
I used to got o this office for pain management. Unfortunately, they stopped seeing me due to one missed apt, which is ever so sad because now I'm suffering. I needed a ride for my apt and my ride canceled last minute, which was out of my control. They wouldn't let me uber there so they put me in a really tight spot and then said they wouldn't see me anymore for anything. When in the past they have canceled my appointments last minute, rescheduled last minute, and I have been left waiting for long periods of time because they were running behind. So, ultimately I feel it is quite the double standard for them to be untimely and expect so much from their patients, whom are suffering daily from immobilizing pain, and don't always have the means to always meet their standards of practice. I wish they were more understanding and less worried about a cash grab from the insurance.
As others have noticed, Dr. Navarro cares nothing for your time. She overbooks appointments so she is always running late and actually expects you to sit and wait for 1 to 3 hours ! before seing her for 5 minutes. Naturally there is a sign on the desk threatening a big bill if you miss an appointment. She didn't like it when I asked the same of her. She is terribly nice, but rushes through her consultation and doesn't actually take the time to know your issues which makes you wonder how many appointments she books that she's always so far behind. The last straw was when she refused to make a phone consult to discuss treatment options, and insisted on seeing me in person. No, I'm not playing these games. I will find someone who runs a professional business and I recommend you do likewise.
The doctor herself seems good and pretty involved, however when I am willing to drive that far and pay $5 in tolls, do not expect me to sit in your uncomfortable wicker waiting area chairs for over two hours. The office staff is completely incompetent. This poor doctor needs an overhaul on assistance.
The Doctors are nice and efficient but honestly the receptionist are terrible, they are not helpful nor nice or efficient, also on passing right information to Doctor or assistants , terrible, I have been trying to get them to send the information to the neurologist and nothing, I can't get my exams done, because of that, it's been more than month now and I can't get them to send the notes of my case to them. It's sad and frustrating because the months go by and nothing seems to advance, and it's your health you talking about. So I have decided to look for another Place for Pain Management. Honestly it's sad.
The doctor appears legit but the staff needs some training. Very unorganized and I am writing these reviews while I have been sitting here waiting for over 1 hour in the waiting room. Several visits, several hundred dollars and no relief. Waste of time and money and the experience has been the worst of any doctors experience ever. Avoid at all costs. Look at the other end reviews. And make sure they know whats wrong with You will thank me. Good luck!
