Buying and selling real estate is one of the most significant decisions a person will make. A person’s home is where they come together with loved ones to create memories while having a sense of comfort, safety, and is the only place people are able to truly let their hair down! The joy of owning a home can sometimes be overshadowed by the real estate transaction process. My goal is to be your personal guide from start to finish to help make the shift both easier and successful.
I focus on buying and selling residential real estate. Before becoming a real estate agent, I was an educator and owned my own business. I earned by B.S. from N.C. State University (go Wolfpack!), and my M.A.T. from Meredith College. Now, I find that I am still an educator and business owner, just in a different way! I continue to apply the skills I developed every day in real estate. Helping others accomplish their goals through excellent customer service, hard work, and honesty is my trademark. I pride myself in providing a client-first approach and will listen carefully to your needs. As an educator, I will also take the time to explain things to you, with patience, and the ability to help educate regardless of your learning style.
My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s gardening, kayaking, paddle boarding, or checking out one of the many walking trails with our two rescue dogs, Honey and Cherish. One of our favorite summer activities is to sit our beach chairs in the water up to our knees and just relax with the ocean’s breezes! When I’m not outdoors, I’m probably in the kitchen trying out a new recipe. Our family is very big on cooking, and we are always baking something. I also actively volunteer as the Advisory Council Chair for Interfaith Refugee Ministry-Wilmington and refinish furniture during my free time.
Being born and raised in Eastern North Carolina has allowed me to have a deep understanding of what a special place this is to live. The natural surroundings, wide array of community activities and entertainment, and local restaurants provide any and everything a person could think of wanting. There’s always something to do year-round. From the warm-hearted people to the warm and toasty sand, our area can’t be beat!
