Check us out every Sunday from 12pm-4pm starting on May 25th. We are located in the municipal parking lot behind Needham Bank located off of Garden St.
The idea was simple, bring together local vendors of produce, art, prepared foods, bread, cookies, and pies in an open air market in the summertime. Bring it to Needham so the residents don't need to travel to other towns to enjoy a farmers market.
After 2 years work, the Needham Farmers Market became reality. Now bigger and better than ever, the Market runs every Sunday from noon to 4 PM at 270 Garden St parking lot sponsored by Needham Bank.
The market provides convenient access to fresh local produce, fresh fish from Atlantic fisheries, pasture raised meat and poultry, artisan sausage, eggs, honey, bread, cookies, pies, popovers, nut brittles, granola, and more.
The Needham Farmers Market features live music sponsored by Not Your Average Joes Kitchen and Bar Needham. This is the ideal place for local musicians to gain experience, feature their own songwriting, and provides a public venue for Needham Schools music programs to perform.
The Needham Farmers Market provides space for local artists to sell their products every week.
There is also space for non profits with a different one each week and a permanent non profit, the Needham Community Farm where education is the primary focus. Two times per month a special program "Chef in the House" features many local Chefs doing cooking demos and sampling.
Special days are recognized with Farmer Bucks given to commemorate the day. These are primarily for children participation. Other events for children are on the "Eaton Plaza" where children can enjoy the magic of balloon artistry, crafts projects, educational games, and fun.
