The Negaunee Public Library provides informational, educational, and recreational services for the community in a pleasant atmosphere.
The Library offers:
New books and other materials in various formats;
More than 39,000 library items available, including books on CD/cassette, large print books, magazines, videos on DVD/VHS;
Interlibrary loaning;
Local and regional newspapers, including: Marquette Mining Journal, Houghton Daily Mining Gazette, Green Bay Press-Gazette, and the Wall Street Journal;
the Negaunee Iron Herald on microfilm;
Negaunee High School yearbooks;
Hundreds of e-books and digital audiobooks through Overdrive;
Computers with Internet access and word processing programs, and printing;
Wireless Internet access;
State and Federal tax forms;
Copy and fax services;
Guidance in obtaining reference and/or information materials, as time permits;
Story times for children (4:30 p.m. Tuesdays) and infants (10:30 a.m. Mondays);
Knitting group (1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays);
and Summer Reading Programs for all ages.
