Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide to those who need us, compassionate and loving support during a difficult and confusing time.
Our funeral home has the distinction of being one of Ohio's oldest funeral homes, as well as being Mt. Healthy's oldest operating funeral home. Founded by Andrew Neidhard in Taylor's Creek in 1860, the funeral home began as an outgrowth of his cabinet business. In 1923, Joseph Neidhard and his wife Alma established the present Mt. Healthy location. Their children also followed in their parents' footsteps in the business and community. In 1995, the funeral home was sold to a large corporation, resulting in many changes and different managers, losing its family business feel. We are proud to say that in September 2014, Paul R. Young, III and his wife Nadine purchased the funeral home from that corporation, with plans to renew the family owned funeral home business plan that was instilled in him by his father and grandfather. Paul brings with him over 20 years of customer-centered experience. It is important to note that Paul Young, III, as well as Neidhard-Young Funeral Home IS IN NO WAY affiliated with ANY OTHER FUNERAL HOME. Both the Young and Neidhard names have been known for decades in our community. The only place you can now find any of the licensed funeral directors of the Paul Young family is at Neidhard Young Funeral Home. We believe in treating people in a loving and respectful way, just like we would treat our own friends and family in their time of need. We are honored to serve the community as a family again.
