I have been going to Nelson Ridge Family Dental for over three years now and I cannot recommend the team there highly enough. I had not kept up with regular office visits as a young adult and was scared to go to a dentist and find out everything that was wrong. When I got to Nelson Ridge I was impressed with how nice, clean, and modern the office is. I was shown to one of dozens of exam rooms that were all equipped with two TVs one for each chair position!. The hygienist I had was so fun and peppy and put me at ease. After the cleaning the doctor came in for a check up and was able to quickly and painlessly fix a problem I had without an extraction. She was wonderful! I now return every 6 months as recommended and actually look forward to it. Everyone is so nice and going to regular check ups and cleanings really does wonders for you. I actually live about 40 minutes away from the office but it's totally worth it! You won't be scared to go here, I promise.
Been a patient for 5 years, referred my mother to them and would refer anyone. Staff is super friendly, always find appointment times easily, dentist and staff very communicative on how your teeth are, what you can do better and how to keep the teeth great. I'm very happy with their business. My whole family goes to Nelson Ridge. Keep up the great service and you have lifelong patients.
Absolute BEST dental office you will find! All the Doctors are very educated and dedicated to their profession. You can tell they are all truly passionate about what they do and care about patient satisfaction. As for the assistants and the front desk, they are all VERY FRIENDLY and helpful!!! You are in good hands..and the office is always well maintained and clean!!!! I would recommend this office to anyone I know. Dr.Etchisonthe owner is really hands on and makes sure the office and service being provided is nothing but exceptional!
5 stars across the board, I haven't been to a dentist in a very long time, ended up with an infection, I call this morning spoke to some amazing staff. They they fit me right in. Listened to my concerns and issues. No judgment because of my lack of dental care, took the time to explain everything and was able to have the 2 teeth pulled on the spot. Very efficient, clean. Overall fantastic! 5 stars ! I will be returning soon! Highly recommended !
Was honestly my favorite dental place. But they raised their prices $20 for this visit. I understand prices are going up everywhere but no attempt to honor the old pricing for one time. Also they try and pigeon hole you into signing up for an “in house savings plan” to lock you in at the $150 rateup from $129. Otherwise you will spend $200 per cleaning. Oh, and you only have 1 week to decide or they won’t offer it to you anymore. So sadly, I am done with Nelson ridge family dental.- in response to the owner, I know that fees have gone up. But offer them at 150 instead of locking people into a subscription based plan. Otherwise that is a $71 increase. The hygienist who performed my cleaning today is the one who told me I had only one week, and I even asked her well what if I decide to do it at a later date and she said because they were “informing me of this information now, I would only have one week from the date of my appointment to make a decision” and that is what put such a bad taste in my freshly cleaned mouth. But if I could give some advice, when raising prices and not letting your clients know until AFTER the service is completed. Offer to honor your previous pricing one time.
I don’t think there has ever been one time that my family and I have gone to Nelson Ridge Dental and haven’t experienced the best service!!!! Every single person that works there from the receptionist all the way to the dentist are exceptionally nice. They don’t push you into anything and all they want to do is make sure that you get the best care! I recommend them to anyone!
I had broken a tooth on Thursday night. Hadn't been to a dentist in a little while and the one I had used for years had gone out of business. These folks got me in on Friday Is as a new patient and ended up repairing the damaged tooth with a cap that was manufactured on site. Had me in-and-out in about 2 hours. Love the staff. Doctor Steve was excellent. Highly recommend Nelson Ridge family dental!
Been a customer for many years now and they have the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Honest, trustworthy and caring dentists. Also, billing dept know exactly what they are doing. Always up front with you before services. No surprises and checkout! Extremely CLEAN and up to date with everything!! Two of my kids had their braces with Nelson Ridge and I couldn’t have asked for better results!! Professionals that understand the importance of parenting even at doctors offices!! Which many other places make you sit in waiting room, like your dropping a pet off at a groomer… I live in Florida now, and still TRAVEL to new lenox NELSON RIDGE for ALL OUR family DENTAL SERVICES!! Absolutely love everything about Nelson Ridge, and I’ve been to many dentists before I found them
I’ve only been going to Nelson Ridge for almost 2 years now and I really wish I had switched earlier. I’ve seen a few different hygienists and a couple of the dentists and they are all very nice, helpful and they don’t try to push anything on you. Since I started going there I really haven’t had that “ugh” feeling about going to the dentist. I’m just really impressed with the environment and the people there!
I've never liked going to the dentist until I started going to Nelson Ridge. Now I love going to the dentist and look forward to my next appt. Best dentist ever! Everyone I have seen here is super friendly and knows their stuff. If you have a fear of dentists or just don't like going I highly recommend giving this office a try!
