There every day. Picking up my grandson
Hate this school. Some teachers are nice but most are rude and only send a student to the nurse if they are bleeding to death. The guidance office doesn't really help much, and most of the principals don't seem to know what they are doing. If fact, multiple students were THREATENED by one of the principals and were not told what they had done. Most of those students have never gotten into trouble before. Also, many of the administrators do not tell students when they are being written up. So you could owe five detentions and never know why you owe them. This makes no sence. To make matters worse, you can always find at least ten students skipping class and none of them seem to get into trouble. The halls are full of trash, no one cleans the lockers, and the gyms locker rooms, for both gyms, permanently smell like sweat mixed with perfume. At least the girls locker rooms do. The gyms themselves are worse. They are not cooled and many students sweat more then they need to while doing the activities. Also, some of the bathrooms smell like weed. I go to this school, and I promise you, I am not exaggerating for any of this. A principal haa threatened me when I had done NOTHING wrong and refused to tell me why I was being threatened. This is an unhealthy environment for students because of the amount of fights that break out EVERY DAY. All any one cares about in this school is the football team, and that is really disruptive for the students that actually want to learn and not have to hear about the football team all six hours every five days we are there. Either change your policy or change the school. This is ridiculous.
Neshaminy is a great school, comparing it to others in the area. They had a variety of classes to take, from computer science to ceramics. I enjoyed how much they had to offer, even though some teacher were, like other reviews here said, incompetent. I remember one teacher was particularly bad, she "taught" Chemistry, yet in an honors track we only got up to chapter 3 in the textbook. Most of my experiences with science at Neshaminy were not all that good, many of the teacher just gave packets of information and work. Your grade was based on those. The english department was another story entirely, I never had a bad teacher. For example, Ms. Livingstone she recently got married, unsure of her new last name made her classes extremely interactive. When we were taught Mice and Men, she would read excerpts from the text as George and Lenny. She additionally showed videos to go with the work we were doing, specially John Green YouTube videos. I also had good experiences with the math department. My first year, my math class drilled me into doing homework and actually studying. If it had not been for those math classes, I would not have been able to tough through college finals, etc. As for history, I had mixed results. Some teachers were fantastic, and some not so much. As for the entirety of the school, the lunches were rough. I always ended up packing a lunch. They always have a drama going on, their representation of the Crucible was my all time favorite. Of course, gym night was my favorite part of student life at Neshaminy. Everyone participated, it was such a big event that so many people could get into it. If you are about to go to Neshaminy, join gym night. You will not regret it. Something I generally also liked about the school was the size. With about 3,000 kids, you never knew everyone. There was always someone new in your classes. With such a big school, they can also provide more opportunities. Not to say that Neshaminy is a golden standard, its not. There is corruption, poor decision making, and cutting corners, but overall its a good high school.
Better than the schools in the city. The 1 star ratings are bots, this school is great.
it’s fine. better than most schools in this area. compared to truman, we don’t have it that bad.
This school is rather horrible when it comes to most things. They will keep students who have co-op and make them late for work.
Great school! My first time here and it's going great so far.
The school is pretty good, five stars just because Sauce went there!!!!
For the most part the food is good but besides that the school sucks
Teachers are greedy don't really care about the kids education just their pay check and free health. Care
