After a 20 minute wait and short clinical history, Dr. Michael Brisman did a cursory symptom exam. After failing to execute an easy finger to nose excercise he asked me if I was happy with the outcome. Then he proceeded to tell me that my meningioma is very tiny and should not be causing my symptoms. He then off handedly mentioned I may have degeneration of my cerebellum but then he didn’t give me any more than that, except the bums rush out the door total time with the doctor was 25 minutes. He told me I could continue with my vestibular therapy if I wanted or regular physical therapy program and he told me he would set up an MRI in two years. I went to see this doctor to get some answers for symptoms that have been plaguing me for a year and left with more questions than before. I was surprised to be able to get an appointment with a neurosurgeon within 3 days, this may be why!
I scheduled an appt for my sister who was in excruciating pain and could not walk or stand. We were referred to this practice by another physician. I called on Thursday, explained, the gravity of the situation and asked for the first available appointment. They said they accepted her insurance, would take her as a new patient and gave us a confirmed appointment on Monday. The next day they called me back and canceled. I was told she was scheduled with the wrong doctor. Apparently they have a monetary agreement with the referring physician and scheduled her with the wrong doctor according to the agreement. Forget that she was hurt and in pain, it didn't work for they pocket. They then told me they don't except her insurance even though the day before when I gave them all her insurance information there was no issue. The most DISGUSTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL moment was when an office staff employee told me to just take my sister to the pain management doctor and let them do an epidural. She's neither trained nor qualified to medically advice ANYONE. I personally find any practice that would accept a patient and then cast them aside when it's inconvenient to them negligent and I'll follow up with the State of NY regarding that. This practice is a sad money grab with no interest in helping people.
Amazing bed side manor. Speaks to you like a human being and explains all your options thoroughly and In layman’s terms. I came in terrified and left with a smile. Can’t say that about many doctors. A++ Also, the receptionist called me and got me in immediately, paperwork was sent over prior and the office was clean and comfortable.
Amazing office staff, always helpful and kind . Dr.Snyder always takes time to really listen and not only offers his patients options,but takes the time to explain the outcomes of each choice. I have always found Dr Snyder genuinely cares about his patients. I have had multiple surgeries with him and feel comfortable and confident in his surgical skills. His secretary Michelle is always quick to respond to any questions always cheerful and helpful.
This was my first visit with Dr. Holtzman. He took the time to explain my condition in great detail. He also provided me time to ask any questions. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Dr. Michael Brisman was very caring and attentive as always. He answered my questions and made me feel very confident. Julie returned phone calls immediately, and made sure that all my paperwork and approvals were ready when I came for my appointment. Dr. Brisman and Julie are a very professional team and they made it a stress-free experience.
Dr. Choi and the entire staff were wonderful. His attention to detail, professionalism and knowledge was comforting and allowed us to feel like we were in the best place to be. He took the time to explain test results, next steps and addressed all of our concerns.
Dr. Gaudin is truly a professional and experienced doctor in his practice. I must admit that I was very nervous to undergo my procedure, but with his support and guidance, all went well and I am currently on the road to getting back into life. The entire process was hassle free and I would recommend his expertise to anyone who is seeking to undergo any procedure under his guidance.
Needing spine surgery is a very scary proposition. Yes, you are in quite a lot of pain and want it to be gone fast so choosing the right surgeon is an extremely intense and difficult decision to make. As soon as I consulted with Dr. Onesti I knew I was in the right place. He was very patient and took plenty of time to answer all my questions and explain what needed to be done and explain the procedure. I liked him. By the time my consult was finished I knew I would be in good hands. After the surgery he personally visited me every day while I was in the hospital. I am also grateful to Christine in the office. She is so efficient and busy but always took the time to say a few words to make my call or visit more personal.
My First Experience with Dr. Sonstein and his assistants Amanda and Theresa was excellent. From my first phone call with Amanda and the confirmation call with Theresa they made me feel welcome and very comfortable. When I got to the visit Theresia took very good care in getting me setup and made me feel that I was in good Hands. Dr. Sonstein was great. Made me feel confident that I was in good hands. He was very friendly and extremely informative. He took a lot of time getting a good feel for what my issue is. He immediately started to discuss a course of action.. I am sure that I will continue to be well taken care of as I proceed along with Dr. Sonstein and his staff.
