We were shopping for a new home congregation, having moved here from Philly just before Covid. Our family is very queer, and it was our hope to find a congregation where we could be our whole selves. An email we sent expressing interest in attending was answered by three members of the staff, including both rabbis. We attended erev shabbat on their plaza, received a warm and genuine welcome, and then effortlessly spent an hour or more at the oneg, leaving on first name basis with the congregation president. Your mileage may vary, and I am sure they will stumble along the way. But I know for certain they are genuinely trying to be a place welcoming to newcomers, and jews of all sorts. We're looking forward to spending more time getting to know the beautiful grounds and the people who make it what it is.
I had never been to a synagogue before. I went with a friend and the congregation was very welcoming. The have some services outdoors, which was really nice esoeciay during covid.
They take very good care of you, I was there for a funeral. It's always a very difficult time. They were very welcoming to someone who is not a member of their congregation. They're very loving and inclusive. Very wonderful place
I love this congregation. As I sat in a comfortable seat, I was thinking about how good the acoustics were, how friendly the members were and how much this all adds to the community in general.
The service is not to my liking, the congregation executive secretary is just shy of glibly slick and the architecture is nasty. aside from those factors it is SPLENDID!
A beautiful temple, with a warm and supportive congregation. Amazing programming for all ages.
That's my home I love them and gave them 31 years of my life
A beautiful place that brought me calm while I attended.
