Kaitlyn Bull is such a phenomenal funeral director. She went above and beyond for my family after the death of my grandmother. Dave was equally exceptional— he treated my grandmother and myself with the utmost respect and compassion. We were even impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the office manager Chris— in all, every person we met along the way made our experience so much easier. Thank you all!
My brother passed Feb 15th in MI & we had him brought home for his funeral. While the simple service was fine & the cremation went as planned, dealing with the funeral home to get copies of his death certificates has been a NIGHTMARE! I personally have stopped in twice & have called twice. Each time getting an answer of pointing blame on Wexford Co as to why they were not in. In April I called Wexford Co myself & got a completely different answer email proof as well as to why didn't receive them. Wexford had sent them in FEBRUARY and walker staff kept telling me they had not been sent. Again. I HAVE PROOF to the contrary. I had to re purchase the copies we needed to close my brother's affairs in May. Which I received the certificates in 2 days from Wexford Co. On top of dealing with this issue, we were overcharged for cemetery plot. Since we are veteran's my father & myself the cemetery has a veteran's rate for plots. Which staff knew this at the time we arranged the funeral, I even showed my veteran's ID. We did not know this until I bought 2 plots next to my brother. Thankfully Springfield twp cemetery refunded my parents the difference. Only good dealings with Walker was with Matt for his headstone. Matt did exactly what we asked for & had it done & in place in 8 weeks. Our family has been using Neville for as long as I can remember & since dealing with Walker, we will for sure not use them again. If I had known how much more expensive Walker was for the same service as Newcomer & the headaches we have had to deal with since. It has been hard enough losing my brother & parents son, to add this stress on top of that. These 4 mos, it has made it even harder to grieve the loss. Would NOT RECOMMEND using Walker in Holland.
Walker Funeral Homes and staff members were more than I could ask for during the most difficult time in my life. They thought of everything I was too numb to ask about with the passing of my husband. Each and every staff member were kind and knowledgable. No matter who I spoke with, that person knew exactly what was going on. They also gave me options on what was available to me. My husband would have been so proud of the memorial service to celebrate his life. They still reach out to check on me. My mother, who we could never get to discuss her wishes, asked me to make her an appointment because it was so beauiful, it is what she wants for herself. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being excellent, I give them a 12. Thank you all so very much. Marjean Releford
Caitlin and the staff at Walker Funeral Home were so kind, patient, and caring when I lost my husband. They even allowed me to bring my dogs to give them the opportunity to see that my love passed. My husband was treated so respectfully and with such care throughout the process. The follow up contacts and resources are a blessing. They made some of the worst days of my life more bearable. Thank you, Caitlin!
In time of need they did a great job. They were professional and were very helpful.
My mother recently passed away in November. The staff at Neville/Walker Funeral Home were wonderful from start to finish. Their respectful caring attitude made our sorrowful experience a positive one. Thank you to Caitlin and her fellow staff members for showing Mom and our family much kindness and respect.

The Holland-Springfield Walker funeral home people were very attentive to our needs to get ready, during and after our father's visitation and funeral.
