I had a couple issues occurring that needed attention. However my primary care person was not available for a month! She was popular and had appointments far in the future. So I went with Urgent Care , which the Primary Care team had suggested. It ended up being very positive. The ARNP that I saw had a disposition that fit my expectations of a medical care giver to a T. I requested to see her the next time I went in and spoke with her of ongoing care. Something she did that I highly value is she made referrals to specialists. My Primary Care person hadn't. Yet I had ongoing problems that were severely impacting the quality of my life, that were causing pain for me every single day. So I am in the process now of seeing those specialists and am feeling hopeful.
Really disappointing experience overall which overshadowed good care. 5 hour wait time, after being told 1 hour. I "checked in" online at 12:15, which was supposed to hold my spot in line, and was told the wait time was 1 hour. I got to the clinic at 1:10 and was told I needed to check in again regardless if I had already done it online. That process took about 10 mins, it was only after the receptionist took my co-pay that she told me the online registration didn't hold people's places in line and only "told the clinic that we were coming" and that my wait time was now an hour and half. I almost left, but thought since I had already paid my co-pay, my 5 year old son and I could wait it out. The waiting room is very small so we waited in the car until it got too cold, then went inside. In an hour's time we had moved up 2 spaces on the list. Multiple people were asking about the wait times each hour, most of us had been there hours, and other people were frustrated that the "reservation system" didn't actually do anything. We didn't see a doctor until 4:40, that's 4 and a half hours after I checked in online which both the phone system and online said that it reserved and held your spot. We saw the doctor for about 15 minutes, in that time the doctor was compassionate and caring. But the overall experience was really poor. The medical assistant explained that their 'system has been having issues for a month' regarding the reservation system. There should have been signage at the front of the office and messaging to patients when they go to book online if that's the case. The front desk doesn't answer phone calls. I was told we would have a follow up with my sons results but have received nothing, and no one answers the phone when we call. Really awful service. I'm giving 2 stars because ultimately we did receive good care for my son and I really liked the doctor and medical assistant, but a 5 hour round trip experience for 15 minutes with the doctor is really disappointing.
Bad service and attitude at front desk. The nurse was racist, she purposely told me there were still 5-6 people ahead of my child and it’s not gonna be our turn for a while. My child was having pretty bad headache so we stepped out to grab water for him and the nurse skipped us again saying she called the name but no one responded so she took us out of list she called my child turn literally 5-10 mins after we stepped outc it’s conflicting with what she has told me 5-6 people ahead of us . We ended up waiting for 2.5 hours without getting an appointment. I don’t know how this can be an urgent care. The service is worse than any other urgent care and even slower than a primary care. This place should be shut down.
Checked in online. When I arrived they told me it would be a 3 hour wait. They said you cannot check in online; however, their voicemail and website contract this messaging. Rude staff. Dishonest staff. They sent me to Mill Creek telling me there was only one person waiting. I’ve been at mill creek for 2 hours now and my son still isn’t seen. Evergreen Health is quickly becoming a terrible health system. This will be my last Evergreen appointment.
Super super disappointing experience. It says to close at 8pm. I arrived at 7pm and the front desk man sat there with a frosty look and told me no patient accepted anymore. He didn’t care if you were urgent and just let you go. I then went to another urgent care which also didn’t accept new patient but the front desk asked me what happened to make sure I was ok and recommended me clinic that was still open. This place “closed” before it should and didn’t care your situation at all
Can you guys believe that one of their nurses FAKED my vital data during my visit? I waited for 4 hours in the lobby before I could see a doctor I tried their website and call-in to get in line but neither worked. This is nothing compared to what happened next. A nurse came in and realized the blood pressure machine was not in the room. She looked frustrated and started asking me questions while inputting data in computer. After a while she left the room. At the end of my visit, the doctor printed out my visit summary and asked if I have any questions. I told her nobody took my vital. The doctor was surprised. And I found my blood pressure and heart rate data was on my report. I asked the doctor how could this happen? The doctor said: "I want to know that too!" Then she sent another nurse in to help on the vital. I downloaded a summary from their system and figured the data on my report was still the FAKED one. For whatever reason the right one was not input to the system. What a chaos! I was thinking maybe the first nurse forgot to measure, and the system auto filled in the data from my last visit. Then I checked the data from my last visit. Unfortunately, they were different. I called and filed a complaint right away and they promised me to give me an explanation. Almost one month has passed and I did not hear from anyone. I decided to share this story here just to warn you to KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR DATA. Hopefully someone from Evergreenhealth can finally see this and give me a call back. Funny thing is I always get tons of letters, emails, messages asking me to provide feedback. They always say your feedback is very important to them. But NOPE. They just pretend they care. Update: Finally received a call from a manager after I filed a complaint again. And proved my thought. "when it gets busy, it happens" "I asked the nurse and she said she did not remember""maybe she accidentally input the other person's data""it is nobody's fault""the only way to solve this kind of problem is build more urgent care so the doctors and nurses would treat everyone with no rush""the only thing I can do is take out the wrong fetal data for you" tons of excuses and tried hard to cover their mistakes. The whole conversation was a joke.
Majority of staff seemed like lovely people, but one blonde woman working the urgent care desk was incredibly rude to my mother, even though she spoke to other patients with a much more reasonable tone. Won’t be going back.
If it's possible, I would like to post 0 star! I was here around 11am, and checked in at 11:20am, there was a little busy at that time, as time went by, patients had been called one by one, including some patients who walked in after me! I asked the reception when would be my turn, and was told that I would be the next second one. And the staffs started their lunch break, it was 1pm when the reception came back, I asked again when would be my turn, and was told that nothing had been changed, there was still one patient in front of me since I did see patients were always in and out in front of my turn! That's so crazy, so that I ased for refund and was leaving, such a rediculius experiencein this place!
Check in was very smooth. Urgent care patients are treated the way they should be. The wait time was less than 15 mins.
Incredibly kind and thoughtful service. They took great care of several patients while dealing with a very rude and disruptive patient. They resolved the situation with the disruptive patient with professionalism and with compassion. They deserve recognition for putting up with that patient's behavior today and still keeping all of their other patients comfortable and safe. Everyone from the receptionist to the medical staff was wonderful and we are very happy with our experience here. Please give the staff and the receptionist our gratitude.
