New Beginnings Thrift supports New Beginnings Ministry, Grace Across Asia, and Pregnancy Counseling Services. New Beginnings is a non-profit discipleship ministry helping men and women, through the word of God and daily habits, to break free of the bondage of addictions and other life drainers and instead to be filled with Gods love, spirit and peace. It is a place where Christian men and women can live after leaving prison, jail, or the dead end lifestyle. Our hope is to equip men and women to become valuable members in the body of Christ. We believe this can happen by giving them a foundation in Christ. Over 4,600 persons annually are returned to the community of El Dorado County from just our local jail. There is a great need to introduce them to the One who can change their lives in a great way forever and help them on that journey with a practical discipleship in a safe and positive environment.
