I've been coming to this library since 1991, I didn't know it then but this library would be the catalyst for my love of books! The smell of this place is still the same too bringing back great memories. Great selection, audio books, graphic novels, DVD movies & shows for rent, yoga class, community help food & clothes giveaway. Great library, definitely recommend.
The renting DVD & CD policy's are the best they've ever been now and everyone's friendly as soon as you walk inside until you leave. Free use of computer's truly helped me out when I didn't own one and best location from my house too!
This library is vast, spanning multiple floors with books, DVD's, movies, and even CD's to boot! There are multiple reading areas, a family craft area, shelves lined with content for your eyes and ears, and a computer station for getting work done or searching the online catalog! The staff there are amazing and very knowledgeable. Considering I rarely carry cash anymore, my only complaint is there isn't a way to pay by card for using the library printing & copying services, compared to other libraries I've visited. I hope this library considers this idea. Even it is enough to knock off a star, I still recommend this library for all to be read, watched, and listened to!

Books are available for all ages , lot of options to choose and CD’s available for rent , you can renew online in your account if you have a library card . Children’s department conduct lot of classes for kids. Library is well-maintained, clean and quiet environment.
The arts and crafts room is my favorite.
Informational, and resourceful. Can be a good place to do paperwork if need be, etc. And the artistry is excellent throughout the library itself. Also can get "safety brochures" w/ meeting dates & times on places such as AA, NA. Neat!
Lovely reading room with natural lighting in older part of the building. Wide selection of periodicals and magazines. Like the new books section, fiction section, and teen room. Lots of programing and events. Great library!
Right next to the Y, this library accommodates many people every day. Lots of room in the children's section, and generally a nice place to be. Parking at bottom the outside stairs.
One of my favorite places in New Britain for buying used books at a bargain.
