Great place for traditional stereo electronics repairs.  Also a fine selection of used vintage equipment  I had a circa 1970 Dual turntable that was buzzing.  They changed a capacitor and that seems to have solved the problem

Got my reciever repaired here, they handled it expertly and I've had no problems with it since getting it back.

I had done some window shopping here, prior to making a purchase. They were helpful and patient while explaining the pros and cons of various units.  When I finally took the plunge and they had some stuff in stock, the brand new receiver unit we purchased turned out to be a lemon. They've since hooked us up with a loaner to tide us over while we wait for the supply chain to catch up. Very classy.

I have been an audiophile for decades. Think Heathkit.  I was so happy to visit NEHF at their new location and to find it packed with top quality gear, including a few beautiful oldies and goodies from the days of yore, perhaps on consignment. One thing that impressed me was that money wasn’t everything; there were carefully curated new starter systems alongside the Rolls Royce-level stuff.  The place is immaculate and super neat. Chris is being super helpful in tutoring me about a tweak to my own system. I trust him implicitly.  The only downside is that you will need your GPS or a jungle guide to find the place. This is not your usual strip mall big box store; it hides in a somewhat industrial area.  Trust me, it is worth finding.  Here’s to good sound!

So happy with the home stereo repair job! We were able to schedule a technician to visit and give us an estimate wicked quickly, and they provided multiple options at reasonable price points. Excellent knowledge of the products and very helpful instructions on use / care upon installation.  Thanks for getting our tunes playing again!

Wonderful shopping experience, Adam was awesome!! I came in looking for a new amplifier, ordered one from Cambridge Audio that I had in mind and it was ready to pick up less than a week later! I love it, it sounds amazing! Adam answered every question I had and even gave me a set of speaker plugs so I could get my new amplifier connected and working right away. They have repaired stereo equipment for me in the past, and this purchase and their attention to detail ensures that I will continue to do business with them in the future!

This might be the first time I've left a good review about a place I haven't actually done business with, but they deserve it.  I sent a repair description/request on the website, and within an hour of hearing my symptoms, Chris replied with a detailed, straightforward answer that did boil down to "It won't be worth the cost to fix" and then continued the conversation over several more emails, providing me answers to further questions, and so on.  It would be really easy for a specialty business like this to say "Sure, we'll take a look, $50 inspection fee..." and know full well it's not something that you'd want to repair. I mean maybe it's not worth their time either but still, I appreciate a business not taking advantage like that.  I will absolutely give these folks my business in the future, but I hope nothing breaks and I don't NEED to ;

I took my Bryston power amp' in for repair.  35 days and several calls later with promises of "oh yea, I'll get to it next" it was never repaired.  I finally just went in and picked it up and went elsewhere.  I had hoped I had found a good repair place.

Amazing local audio/video store! Impressive selection of components and complete systems & TVs hooked up and on display for viewing/listening. I was only looking for a small stereo system for my 1 br apartment, nothing fancy, but the staff made me feel welcome, was very helpful, and Andy gave me a great price! Will definitely go back.
