Just got off the phone with Jessica Cocozza and that was the most unhelpful conversation I’ve had with anyone from an admissions department. Asked what time the programs were, she didn’t know. Told me I would have to sign up for a class to get the class schedule. Didn’t know the difference between RN and LPN. Huffed and puffed after asking about tuition. Don’t understand what the call was for if she wasn’t even trying to help me out. Definitely not giving them 33k to get treated like that. Can’t even imagine what it would be like to be a student there. Lincoln tech it is.
Going here was the worst decision I ever made honestly. They're more concerned about money and deadlines than they are your education. I've also never met more unprofessional teachers until I went here. Do some research before applying! I continue to get "I'm sure you're disappointed about the interruption in your education" letters a year later when they know I'm not coming back.
Went to this school and graduated. I was in my field for 16 years. Expensive as hell but your teachers actually work in the field. Your success depends on your drive.
You wont get an engineering degree from here. You'll be a technician. You will never get an engineering degree from here. They don't have it on the website, you can look everywhere on it. There's no truth to the website. They overcharge you and don't teach you what youre paying for. For the price you pay, you should learn a lot more. I'm in my third term and have yet to do anything for my major. I had to wait three terms to be able to get A CLASS for my major. It's not worth it. I AM A STUDENT AND I AM TELLING YOU. DO NOT COME HERE. You're better off going to URI or any community college!! I hate it here.
I'd give the school and it's community five and a half stars out of five if it had student and faculty EV charging stations!!! Coincidentally I have to confess that the last electrician who came to my house was a graduate of New England institute of technology and he was superb... Very professional, ran his own company, had all the answers to my questions... so they're doing something really right there.
When my twin and I were looking at technical schools in Rhode Island, little did we know that there were so many courses to choose from. While we may be twins, our tastes are vastly different. One of the things we really liked about NEIT was the diversity of programs tehy offer. I’m currently studying drone and robotics while my bro is working on his architecture degree. Overall, we’re both pumped!
The surgical tech classes here are just the best. The lab simulation sessions, accompanied by the instructions on surgical procedures and instruments, give you all the tools to succeed in an operating room environment. The instructors here spare no knowledge. This is not an easy program, but if you have serious career goals, then you’ll do what it takes. I am!!!
Avoid this for-profit school! Go to ANY other trade school. They canceled my student loans without my knowledge. I got pulled out of class several times in the beginning of my semester and was told to go to the bursars office, once I got there no one could tell me what was going on with my account and they told me to try the registrars office. Same thing, no one could tell me why I was getting pulled out of class or what was going on with my account. Everything looked fine they said. After about 3 weeks of that and getting zero info...I stopped getting pulled out of class and at the end of the semester I got a $5000+ bill. They've been suing me for it for the past 8 years. Everytime I've gone to court there's always atleast 10 other people there who had the same thing happen to them. Do yourself a favor and find an apprenticeship instead of wasting your money at this "school".
I’ve been a car fanatic for as long as i can remember. Looked at a lot of mechanic schools near me and decided to go with NEIT based on their course offerings. If fixing cars and custom paint jobs are your thing, this is for you. Really happy I decided to go here. If you want to study to be an auto technician, this is THE course.
Went with neit cuz they have flexibility for those of us over 40 who are going back to school. The faculty here have extensive experience on engineering. Currently in my second year and can’t wait to start on my new career path baby!
