(1) To promote among lawyers and others high standards of religious, social, and ethical ideals and practices;
(2) To promote and provide instruction in the science of ethics, particularly in the systematic application of ethical principles to concrete legal issues;
(3) To promote the intellectual and spiritual welfare of its members; and
(4) To safeguard the legal and moral rights of all people.
