As Jesus said in Mark 2:17, "... I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners". We stand upon that verse & welcome all children of the God
Our church’s goal is to equip our members to be disciples of Jesus by focusing on the following:
- A commitment of prayer: Our belief is that prayer is essential to the spiritual development of the individual. Prayer is an act between the believer or believers and God. Regular/ continual prayer fosters a deeper understanding of God and builds a relationship between the believer and our Loving God.
- A genuine hunger for God's word: Our belief is regular reading of God’s Word enables the believer to gain an even greater understanding of God. Our services are predicated upon God’s word, and we encourage our members to dig into the Bible and find those golden nuggets that speak to the believer and in doing so, the believer will reach a whole new level in their walk with Jesus.
- A sincere desire to exalt Christ: During our services, we are in a constant state of praise and worship- exalting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- A willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit: We encourage and teach our members to foster a relationship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will foster spiritual growth since the Holy Spirit is a Comforter, Advocate, Teacher, and, most important, a friend.
- A commitment to fellowship: We encourage our members to fellowship with each other. Life is full of surprises and challenges, so we encourage members to share their testimonials, challenges, blessings, or just a good ol’ fashion laugh. Good Fellowship exalts and praises God while providing a support structure for the believers.
Finally, New Life Fellowship stands upon Zechariah 4:6 “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts”. A passion to disciple all Christians to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
