Dr. Charlotte Milazzo's practice is located in The New Orleans Healing Center building across from The St. Roch Market in The Faubourg Marigny area. Dr. Milazzo's mission is to provide a personalized experience for each owner and pet's wellness, medical and surgical needs, in a relaxed, calm, and unique and intimate environment for an affordable price. While she practices traditional medicine mostly due to her experience and background, she also has an open mind and practices integrating complementary medicine and therapies thru collaborating with other professionals and or referrals. Dr. Milazzo also does some of her own emergency and after hours work to honor the bond between veterinarian and patient on an as needed basis when she is able. Dr. Milazzo personally shares her life with and treats all species including small animals, large animals (some require barn calls), and exoitcs (like birds and small mammals). House calls and at home euthanasia's are also available by Dr. Milazzo when needed. Grooming services provided by a very experienced, skilled, local groomer are available in house as well. Since the clinic space is limited for now, long term boarding is not available on site, but the sky is the limit for Dr. Milazzo's future plans. The clinic and office is perched on floor 2L, which is the lower 2nd floor in the Art Gallery. Park in one of the two parking lots directly behind the building. Security is provided and there is a sheriff's office in the building. You may use the elevator or any staircase, but please pick up after your pet or let us know about any animal produced mess so we can keep the building beautiful, healthy,l and clean, as we enjoy being good neighbors. (Look for the cleaning stations near the building entrances or call us for help.) Follow the signs and paw prints to the clinic! Since the building is pet friendly, take some time to visit the other businesses, health care providers, gym, burlesque performance, dance, indoor rock climbing or language classes, vintage and specialty shops, spiritual and esoteric products, readings, gatherings and special events, grocery store/food co-op, restaurants, bars, performance venues for music and theatrical events, art gallery and community exhibits or speakers, legal firm, and bank credit union in The New Orleans Healing Center. If you hang around late enough, the neighborhood transforms into one the coolest music and art scenes in the city!
