New Peking

Tasty, chicken was moist and flavorful and the rice was perfectly cooked. Prompt take out service and it’s in the little heart of Martinsburg. Character of a building like the people who work here. Don’t let the outside fool you because it’s very clean inside. The service of the gentleman who took my order was so sweet! What a little hidden gem!

I have always ADORED this restaurant! Good food, good prices, good staff... but today I stopped for lunch because I seen the “OPEN” sign… just to find a “DANGER” sign on the front door… that no humans are allowed in the building after 12/28/2022…. I’m just here to ask why? Seems a little concerning considering how many times my family and I have eaten here.

$60 for egg fu young, mu shu pork, shrimp tempura, steamed pot stickers, and Mongolian beef. None of which was very good tasting, except shrimp fu young. But it too was overcooked till dry and tough. Tempura was like fried prawns, overcooked and tough, no tempura dip. Mu shu was ok, pancakes like leather. I spent 30 years in San Francisco Bay area, had great Chinese food there. Nothing like it in WV. Update: wife and I had 3 days of diarrhea following our meal from here.

I love the Peking! I've been eating here for over 40 years, and if you ask me, there's no better Chinese restaurant around. Mike is always there to greet you, and the staff are amazing and friendly. The Peking will always be my favorite place to eat on my Birthday!Food: 5/5

Came back in Aug 2022 and the food is still excellent! Ordered the Shrimp with Bean Sprouts... I highly suggest it!

My wife and I visit here several times a year and have always enjoyed dining in this restaurant. The food is always great and plentiful as well, the staff is quite friendly and helpful and it is clean. They have many loyal clientele that have been coming here for years. They also have a full service bar that serves good drinks like the Mai Tai above or if you are brave enough, try a Kane special!

Food was okay. We may try again and eat in. Fried rice had nothing in it! I was hoping for some veggies and bean sprouts. It was tasteless. Hot and sour soup too salty. Triple Delight was average.Food: 3/5

Got sesame chicken and rice. Chicken was hard and over cooked to the point where the chicken meat was dry as turkey. Didn't ask us what drinks we wanted. Brought water. Waitress couldn't understand a simple question. Asked if the chicken came with white rice she wrote down rice and when food arrived it was fried rice not white rice Took forever to get our food. Would not recommended
