New Roc Social Bar & Lounge

Had a fun time with good friends. I came out from Los Angeles to visit and was brought to this nice place. I ordered the ox tail. It was good. I've had better, but I wouldn't complain about this. The friend chicken looked good as well as the salad with the red snapper. I also tried the Jamaican punch. Good balance of juice and rum. Got a little taste of chocolate brownie at the end. Smooth and warm. Piano player played a nice selection of tunes. Would have been nice a little quieter. Loved the evening.

This place is around the corner from me. I always bring my friends here. It is one of the better bars around. They have hookah which is not for me. The brings are good. The bouncers and everyone there are good to go. That said, a few things. There are days where the crowd feels different and that can be touch and go. I walk by from time to time to see the vibe. That can be just appearances or it could be a thing. The second this was that you need to hookah to get a table. We came in with 5 people clearly more than just hang out at the bar. I had a friend come in from DC, CA, Brooklyn, they started to give us a hard time about taking a table if we weren't going to hookah. They told us if someone else came we would have to give us the table. Even after we ordered food. It never happened but it was weird having that hanging over us. That said I think this is the best local bar to hang out. I've brought dates here everything. I like it and recommend it.

Always a good time in a city that isn't known for that. If you live in New Rochelle go here. If you don't live here...come here. Great music. Great food. Great service and an atmosphere that is just chill and sexy. Love it here.

I honestly thought this place was decent until half way through eating my food I saw a roach. When we told the waitress she basically squished it in a napkin and I guess threw it away. But when we received the bill it was 141.00 originally without any compensation until I asked for the manager and when I brought it to his attention that we saw a roach he paused and acted dumbfounded saying the door was open .. as he proceeded to ask the waitress to see if we really saw the roach. He came back and took 26 dollars off the bill and in all reality he should’ve just waived the food. They have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!

Social has some pretty tasty drinks. I suggest the “Social Caribbean”, if you don’t mind sweetness— it’s my go-to order ! They play a lot of Hispanic music which is why they lose a star— having a larger mix of music would be more fun to jam out to. Soca and reggae are my faves, I would def give 5 stars if I heard more of that!

Great music and atmosphere but when I went with friends this past weekend the bartender was very rude and disrespectful. Pretty much forced us out of the door. Can’t see myself going back because of that experience.

it's small but nice spot to have a drink and hookah, they have some tasty finger foods as well, I didn't like the Djs selection of music otherwise it cool.

Server was very rude!!! When she sat us she had a very snappy attitude. Didn’t attend to us after we ordered the whole night!!! We had to call another server over to get our check. I usually come here and have a good time. But I felt dismissed and mistreated. I’ll give it one more try. They should really be nice to everyone. I have over 20k followers on some of my social media accounts, their actions could be damaging.

Don't go there if you don't spanish. I also wanted to sit outside as the weather was nice and there were tables, but the spanish speaking barman would not let me.

Wonderful place, I had a great time. Hookah was great and our waiter was very attentive. The food was also amazing. However, the picture of rumpunch could've been stronger.
