If you are looking for great comforting food and in great price this is the place for you. If you are into fancy places this is not the place for you. Food is my thing and main focus and I will definitely be back for more. Service is good and you can tell most people are regulars. Loved, loved, love this place.

Old style diner. Most of the folks seemed like old time regulars. If you miss that diner vibe, this place has it. Breakfast was good. Service was a bit slow because of the crowd that day.

Great service excellent food which also serves breakfast. I had the fish and chips which is great and good portions for the cost. The gravy is amazing and so is the pancakes. Will return for sure. *****

Go there if you like sssllooowww service and salty food. Steak was well done when I asked for medium rare probably yesterday's leftovers. Scrambled eggs were rubbery although the sunny side up order was on point. Ketchup for the home fries, nowhere to be seen. Only 1 jam brought out for all of the toast at the table. Oh and if you sit outside expect to be annoyed by wasps, although to be fair we were warned - it was too nice today to stay indoors. Not sure why most people rave about the place... Maybe because it's cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

I was just looking for somewhere to eat and found this place, it's quite simple with no luxuries at all, it's quite big with a lot of tables and only a really quiet background speaker tuned on the radio, the server is a super kind lady. The prices are really good super inexpensive you can have a nice burguer for $4 and have really good brunch for less than $10. Pancakes where super gold and soft perfetc! Eggs also perfect, the coffee had that nice home made taste, simple but good. For sure will be back here lots of time. Ps:It's all day BREAKFAST!

Came by for a quick lunch. Service was good and the food was good, I’ll definitely come by to try out more stuff on the menu.

Still one of the best tasting eggs benny in the city and unlike some of the new hip spots you never have to wait in line.

New York Cafe, 757 Broadview Ave on the corner of Danforth, Toronto, is a classic diner with a twist on Greek dishes which makes sense because of the diner's proximity to Greek town. Casual food, cleanly appointed, and prompt service all add up to a good experience at one of the last diner's of its kind in this part of Toronto.

I love the staff here, ask for Eva, great service, great atmosphere, INCREDIBLE FOOD. Wheelchair Accessible, except for washroom.
