We feel so fortunate to have had the assistance of Robert and Kathryn Stobo in obtaining a monument for a family member. We live over a thousand miles away and were concerned that the process might be difficult to navigate successfully. From the moment of our first meeting through the installation of the monument, they were helpful, thoughtful, extremely kind and patient with us. We are delighted to award a 5 star recommendation to New York Monument Co. Robert and his wife, Kathryn, were lovely from start to finish. Choosing a monument to honor my mom was the final step in a very difficult process but Robert was patient with us, answered all of our questions and didn’t pressure us at all. Once the order was placed, he handled everything in terms of dealing with the cemetery. The stone was set in place a few weeks ahead of schedule and it was exactly what I had envisioned.
Rob and his family were friendly, empathetic, compassionate, and absolutely wonderful. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. I never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. All the logistical items were clear, and they took the time to explain everything in detail. They definitely took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was very much appreciated. I highly recommend them. Thank you Rob! You truly made a difference during such a difficult time.
