We are a medium-sized library with 17 public desktop computers and 12 laptops available for use within the library. We have 3 catalog stations. We have 4 study rooms, a Conference Room and a large Meeting Room.
Newark Library is a branch of the Alameda County Library system. The 15,000 sq. ft. Newark Library was designed by architect Aaron Green and opened to the public in 1983. The design includes special areas for preschoolers, school age children, teens, adults, and seniors. The library has over 74,095 items, including books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, CDs, and books on CD with eBooks available online.
