While getting new brakes on my 2018 4Runner yesterday, I was told I had a nail in one of my tires they never told me which one, but not to worry, it was repairable. I had them repair it, but this morning when I go to run errands, the back left tire is fully flat see photo. Should I be responsible for changing the flat in the rain on a Sunday when the service department isn't open, then have to take a day off the next day from my own job to have them correct it? Or, should they drive to my house ASAP and install a new tire before I have to miss work?
Great service at Newark ToyotaWorld. Did my 70k service on my truck and was in and out super fast. Service tech was verify knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend using as your Toyota Servicing Facility. 10/10!!
Very helpful, informative, professional, and efficient after an unexpected emergency tow! I'll likely be switching to this location for my regular maintenance needs. My dashboard on my 2011 Camry basically died on a ride last week and certain behavior led me to assume a computer issue. I made it home but after work the car wouldn't start and needed a tow. I chose a genuine Toyota service-center for the tow destination instead of my regular big-chain mechanic. I'd never been to Newark Toyota World but gave them a heads up call and they put in a note I was coming around 7pm, and I understood a mechanic wouldn't be able to look at the car until the morning. I got a call the next morning at 9:50 detailing their inspection plan and seeking my authorization, and then 11am with the findings/diagnosis. 4+ year old battery failed and my alternator unfortunately had also failed. They also did a full car inspection they said they do this by default with new cars they've never seen at the location and found my coolant reservoir empty and the radiator had been leaking evidence: crystalized residue. I gave authorization for the replacements and the work was done and ready for pickup by 5PM THAT DAY. All of this when I didn't have an appointment and they were booked solid. Unexpected car maintenance is never fun, but Newark Toyota World - specifically Service Advisor Cheryl and Mechanic Guido - took very good care of me. I felt very much part of the process and was well informed the whole time. Plus I qualified for 3 month payment plan with no interest, which I appreciated they offered that option! I expect I'll be returning next time I need honest & quality work performed on my car., and going forward Thank you!
Customer service is always honest, professional and friendly. When I go in for routine maintenance they also do all vehicle check points and give honest advice--what may may need attention in the future. Waiting room is clean and accommodating for those of us who chose/have to wait for our vehicle. I get peace of mind when I leave that my vehicle is in good running condition for the next several thousand miles.
I went into the dealership because I was having issues with my right front tire was losing air. The technician found a nail in my tire and said it was too close to the sidewall and it could not be repaired. He recommended that I get 1 new tire on a car that has 13,000 miles on it and charge me $265.00. Wheni looked at the picture, the nail was not too close to the sidewall. I didn't ask them to try and fix it because I didn't trust that it would be fixed properly. I asked for my car back and took it to another place and they fixed my tire free of charge.
Absolutely amazing experience no pressure what so ever. I was in there for less than two hours and walked out with the car I wanted. Chris was absolutely phenomenal at his work he tried to get me into an older Avalon he tried everything but because of the age of the vehicle I was suggested a new camry and that’s what I went with and I am extremely happy with my Camry. Big thanks to everyone and Chris at Newark Toyota for making sure I was happy with my purchase before hitting the road. Definitely will do business again.
Went in for routine maintenance and as usual was called up and was advised that it needed more work. Not a problem. Is to be expected. Get my truck back later with a gouge in my rim. So now i’m inconvenienced for two whole days without my truck as they have to have it repaired.
To be honest I've not had a great experience with this Toyota center in the past and have taking my business elsewhere. Due to the nature of my recent issue it made the most sense to bring my car into the manufacture service center instead of my chosen mechanic; I did so reluctantly. I regret nothing. What I received was some of the best and quality service I've ever experienced. My case was handled by Dave Ferguson who was nothing short of AMAZING. Despite me dropping my car off late he was extremely friendly and welcoming. We spoke in detail about the issue I was experiencing and throughout Dave was attentive, engaged and extremely knowledgeable. He was also very upfront and open with me about what would have to be done to my car as well as the time frame to expect. When they could not reproduce the issue I was experiencing on their own Dave kept me notified the entire time and even allowed me to go on a ride along with him instead of just dismissing my problem. This ONE experience has turned it all around for me. I will definitely back probably ask for Dave F, lol. The service was total and efficient but Dave put it over the top 10/5 stars from me.
My experience at ToyotaWorld to service my Mazda CX5 on January 25 and 26, 2023 was excellent as usual. Dan Ferguson was my point of contact and took the time to explain all the parts needed for my car and went through the itemized bill with me. Everyone at the service center is friendly, helpful and pleasant and I've never had an issue that couldn't be resolved. Thanks ToyotaWorld!
Well done again! The team here at Newark ToyotaWorld is the best! This is my second car purchase from this location and it is really easy. They found the car I wanted, priced it fairly, and made buying it a cinch. Dave Fales is the best. Thanks again!
